I'm a big fan of the Gaspez Norse team personally. If you want ladies then the Impact! Valkyries work nicely.

Both linked in Magictobe's post above.

I think the plastic chaos mauraders are the best. Here's an example from my good buddy egghead.

The Neomics Chaos marauders have a wildman/Norse head option, and they look more business!

The Norse WW's and Yeti from Willy miniatures has cought my fancy too.

For the Linemen, Runner and Bersek I've gone with Gaspez's Chaos marauders with a slight conversion because they have a perfect proportion, while Gaspez's norses have too long arms and a Mongol look I don't really like.

The thrower is Hatork from Andrea Miniatures with some conversion.

My ulfs are Reaper's clay golem.

And my troll is Willy Miniature's :D

If you can find em I have the 88 Norse(2nd ed?) that I am rather fond of.

Look much like the current edition to as far as I've noticed.

How about these guys from Red Box Games (http://red-box-games.com/shop/index.php ... x&cPath=13) as Norse?

Those aren't doing much for me the torsos look like they are not working with the belt to the hips. Look like two different figs stuck together.S.

Those Red Box figures are great to be used as Chaos Warriors......UNTIL YOU HAVE THEM IN YOUR HANDS!!!!

There are small scaled figures, and then there are these. They are tiny. They look incredibly big in their web's pictures, but they're the same scale as Impact!'s viking runner, or even a little bit smaller.

One of them was used as Chaos marauder for the Legacy Team IX in BBForo and it's smaller than.....all of them.

You can see him here : http://www.bloodbowlforo.org/phpBB3/vie ... 45#p274061

If you place him next to a plastic GW Marauder he looks even smaller.

Not good for Norse, and really useless for Chaos.

what's allegedly wrong with the scale of the Impact! Viking Runner?? Last I checked he was perfect for an ST3, AV7 player...

everyone has been bombarded by so much scale creep in recent years that a mini on a true 28m scale is now considered small??? :pissed:

thanks for the link to the legacy team, confirms my belief that no matter how hard everyone tries they always end up looking :puke:

Scale creep really bugs me too, especially on big guys which get impractical to actually use beyond a certain size.

I like that legacy team though. The legacy concept works great for pact teams.
