The Random skills are stackable so if you roll the same player all weekend you could end up with a super player.

With regards to the hotels I dont know any off hand however will see what I can find out.

There's a Travel Lodge(?) at Weedon, a junction or two away from Daventry on the M1. Possible option

Had a question asked and wanted to share the answer so everyone was aware.

Meantime, I've been looking over the rules and got a query about TV - the website says 1.2m of which 100k can be spent on skills... does this mean that (in principle) I could spend all 1.2m on players/rerolls etc and have no skills? Not saying that's what I'll do, but my latest idea (if I can paint them in time) is chaos pact, and I may need an extra 10k or so to squeeze in an extra reroll... just wanting to know what I can and can't do before getting too involved in figuring out what team I want to bring!

This is exactly correct.

EDIT: also wanting to check... other than the 'only one stat increase' rule, is there any other limit on skill choices? Say could I spend 90k on 3 doubles, or 100k on 5 people all having the same normal skill (seen it elsewhere, a dorf team with lots of guard )

This is also correct however in future tournaments I would probably limit it to only being able to pick each skill once.

16 players signed up so far, places are going quickly now with the local players starting to sign up.

If you want to guarantee your place I would suggest you do it sooner rather than later as I can only go up to 32 players Max due to space limitations.

Sir Pugsley has very kindly offered to make a little Stunty Cup trophey for the highest finishing Stunty team.

If people are brave enough to bring a stunty team to a Group Stage then KO Competition then they certainly deserve a trophy

Just in case anyone is stuck,Ive just booked into the "Days Inn" at watford gap, which (the nice lady told me) was 5 miles from Daventry.... they dont do twin rooms but the family rooms have a double and a sofa bed and are £40 per night...


I prefer B&B to these hotel chains (travellodge, premier Inn ect) however there didnt seem to be many 9that where priced okay) around there!!

I would be happy to do that, if more than 4 Stunty teams are entered then I would randomly decide who gets to be in the stunty group and who gets to be in a regular group.
