I may be a maybe. If there's still space for me, I'd be paying Monday if I decide to go for it.

I'm no more than 50/50, Monday will be the day if I decide. If you fill up before then, that's fine. :)

Ok so have sorted accomodation in the ivy bush round the corner. I will be coming.

Now, just to confirm priceing and how it works. The £26 for non NAF members does include the NAF registration or not? (I would have re-joined at newqay bowl but couldnt get time off).

If it doesnt can I pay on the day and as Lycos is coming NAF register then pay the £20?

hope that makes sense

Just flipping through the rules again, it says you want all models based, is that on plastic bases? Or is it with flock?
Just don't want to turn up without flocked bases and get turned away (happend to my 'friend' ryan when he went to a warmachine event)

I will be honest mate we just like playing teams that are nice to look at but if you turn up with out based you won't be turned away.

One thing they said last year is they liked playing painted rather than unpainted.

Don't turn up with them still boxes and build em at half nine lol

As for standards. My 12 year old boy will be playing and he painted them himself.

We just want to play blood bowl and have fun

Hi All,

Can someone help with some queries I have on the rules for this event?

Team size states that it should be 1.1 Million Gold, 11 players not including Star Players, Max 2 Stars.
Does that mean it is 11 players max? And if there are no star players what are the 2 stars for?
Also can some explain what WYSIWYG stands for as well as what proxies are.

And finally.... can someone tell me if we have to bring brand new teams as part of the 1.1million gold or whether we can add skills as part of the costs.

Many Thanks for your help with these queries in advance.

Looking forward to seeing you there (if your going) in what will be only my second tournament.

You need to select a team as normal. Hence a min of 11 players max 16.
Should you want star players such as morg. Yon can then induce them.

Also can some explain what WYSIWYG stands for as well as what proxies are.
What you see is what you get. And proxies. This would be like saying this Orc thrower is really my wardancer.

Buy your team and any inducements. Then we add skills on the day

This means you have to have 11 regular players on your roster before you buy star players. but if you have the cash left you can get up to 2 stars after your regular players are purchased

What You See Is What You Get basically if you have a chainsaw guy the model should have a chain saw....ect Proxies are models used to represent other models, like using Dark eldar for dark elves (in my case) its usually allowed as long as you can tell whats what (Blitzers ect) dont forget you can ask an opponent what it is if need be (most will remind you of skills as well)

No, you allocate skills before the 1st match (as listed in the rules) obviously they start with the skills they already have, but you get free ones (3 normal or 2 double if i remember correctly) which do not cost and do not add to team value, dont forget your team resets prior to each match (all the dead / injured come back) but you must keep the skills as allocated (no swapping between matches)
