Two quick queries

The random skills after game are these stackable or do you have to reroll if the play already has a skill?

And can anyone recommend any cheap hotels near the venue for me and the Don

The Random skills are stackable so if you roll the same player all weekend you could end up with a super player.

With regards to the hotels I dont know any off hand however will see what I can find out.

Having spoken to Pippy he has confirmed that I can indeed run NAF Sanctioned "Grudge" matches as long as I do random pairings (Or a seeding system but I have opted out of that for now).

This means that if you do get knocked out of the cup you will be able to continue playing matches against other knocked out coaches.

So now I can guarantee 6 matches over the 2 days

good news about the guaranteed 6 matches, as, after reading the blurb, that was a small concern.

recently played a fun BB LE Auld World Game with 'Gamesvaultsteve' (a Mad Grotz v Flings Grudge Match) & was talking with him about the Daventry tournament. put me down as interested & i'll see if i can get a few of the newly converted Burton BB players to join me.

Is there gonna be a cap on the number of players and a dead line for applications? As I wont know till a lot nearer the time.

Ian, I think the limit is 32. As for deadlines I'll ask Lee and get back to you.

No "Official" deadline for sign-ups but as with everything sooner is always better.

I wont be allowing walk ins on the day purely so Im not messing around the people who have signed up as reserves.

Aye, Matt is right about the limit on players too. I have set up the tournament so that I can take a maximum of 32 players but really I can take any number of players up to that as long as it is a multiple of 4 (Which I have organised through the use of 3 willing reserves). This means that no matter how many people sign up we will get the required multiple of 4.
