But more importantly ... thanks Nipples! The man with the iron nips once again unleashed his gun show of a team tournament, and it was immense. One of the highlights of the calendar and a worthy culmination of each year's BB. Great event, great fun.

Congrats to the Geordies for backing up their insufferable bluster by doing the business. Very good result in a strong field, kudos to Pippy, Stick, Don & Stan. Special mention to Sillysod though for winning the individual crown with Underworld. :o

Roll on next year!
Ouch. Tough luck matey. I'll be bringing my delfs out for the Poo, so I'll try to return the favour! Still undecided on my TV115 line up though...

Wish I could have been there with you guys. The FlameBowl last year was awesome, but the weekend jolly to Essen was my Autumn pick this year. I'll try to make it next year.

So how on earth did Silly win with underworld? was he in a team of complete noobs who lost their games allowing him easy victories? Who were these noobs?!

He got bonus points for a low tier team. So he went 3/3/0 but finished above Ironjaw and Wightlord despite them recording 5/1/0. To be fair he pulled off some cracking results though, beating Mumbojumboist's Skaven 2-0, drawing with Ironjaw's CDs (with Underworld!) and also holding Wightlord to a tie.

Excellent tournement as ever, Mark. Congratulations to the Geordies and especially Silly - what a performance with Underworld. The evening frivolities were a blast and the venue was... interesting. At least when my grandad gets drunk at Christmas and starts telling me how we have it easy nowadays, how he used to work down the mines in the pitch black with hardly enough room to move I can say stuff you, I survived the Flame Bowl III.

Although my record was good, I think Pete played an absolute blinder against me and thoroughly deserved his victory overall.

Nippy was awesome, especially when he had to pull out of announcing that we were changing venue next year 2 minutes after thanking the staff there for a great weekend...ha ha ha ha ha

I broke Jimmy. I never thought my endless stream of shite would get through his ample armour, but I made him CROW (and in return he made me 4^ dodge to win with 5 elves)

Cracking tournament nipples! The venue was perfect for young people with good eyesight, candlelit bloodbowl is pretty atmospheric :)

Thanks for help with the taxi Nick. They got me there with 7 minutes to spare (!) so it worked out pretty well.

What were the final team standings? I know some people didnt buy into the whole team spirit thing (I heard the odd crys of "is Geoff losing again?", "why Geoff why", "Phil is a terrible captain", and "Duck the team") but I for one love my team and am anxious to know how it panned out. Whats the official hierarchy of BB cliques for the coming year?

It was a great weekend again (well for the time I was there I can vouch for at least), and credit must be given to the guy who ran the venue as he went out of his way to try to put things right with the lighting etc, ok it didn't work but credit for the effort at least.

I had some decent enough games (all losses) the highlight being the Why Not game against Purdindas where we both knew that we deserved to be sat in the corridor due to our lack of ability, it was the Blood Bowl equivilant of a Laurel and Hardy film if I'm honest, much fun.

I am also proud to see that team MoX cleaned up in the raffle, all we have to do is transfer that luck to our dice next year and we'll be champions.

We finished second, Booty third, I assume Paincake fourth (Leon fail - or at least, that's how Mark made it sound?). I think the margin of victory was less than a win, and only two points between us and Booty.

Next year, none of this table one on day two rubbish, that's two years now you and I have been beaten into second by the bums rush. Everyone play more like Porritt. ;)

This was a fitting curtain closer for the UK BB season 2010. Truly great effort Mark. You should be very very proud!

Mighty congrats to the Sod but also to Sidney and Leon. Unlucky, chaps...

And the GBBL win... well victory certainly is sweet, especially after the months of banter! ;) Thanks to Local Heroes for honouring your contracts in round 6! ;)

It was an amazing weekend and thanks to all the other teams. It was very close at the top all the way through. Hard luck Swimmers and special thanks to PBB, Pincock, KAL and Local Heroes (they didn't really throw the tie!). Quality fun!

Oh and extra extra special thanks to Daz (Zedsdead) for personally contributing 34 points to the Gazza's Tears cause (beaten by three of us, plus bonus points) :-D

Happy holidays everyone! See you soon!
