Day 1 (3 Matches)

• will be you playing the 3 other teams in your group in a 4 person mini league, the top 2 teams from this will go to one KO competition and the bottom two teams will go to a different KO Competition.

Day 2 (Between 1 and 4 Matches)

• This is a straight KO competition where all of the teams from Day 1 will face off against each other in a Seeded KO Competition. Either in the Best of the Best competition for the top 2 from each Day 1 group, or the Best of the Rest competition for the bottom 2 teams in each group.

If you get knocked out early in day 2 then there will still be plenty to do either looking around the rest of the convention taking part in the various Demos that are going on or just playing grudge matches against others who have been knocked out.

So the first three games on Saturday are all guaranteed NAF ranked and played amongst the groups of four who are seeded by NAF ranking? They then determine who you play initially on Sunday morning (Also a guaranteed NAF ranked game).

After that, if you win you carry on in a knockout tourney playing NAF games. The grudge match still isn't explained though. Is this also a predetermined game for the losers of round one (And NAF ranked), or is it just a pick up game, and if so will it be considered NAF ranked?

Just clarifying what we could expect if a few of us go and get knocked out early, then people decide they don't want to play any pickup games. Or vice versa, could we play all day if people stayed and would they be NAF ranked games?

This is all correct. Seeding will be by NAF ranking where possible.

This is where I need some help, I have no problem setting up the grudge matches to be predetermined however I need some clarification from a more experienced tournament organiser as to whether I am allowed to log these matches with NAF, I have no problem doing it if I am allowed, this would effectively guaruntee people 5x ranked matches.

No problem, I will try and get some clarification on this myself.

There is no problem with playing pickup games for the rest of the day if you get knocked out early, we will have some tables free for use. However, I still haven't found anyone who can tell me if the Grudge matches are allowed to be sanctioned or not. Anyone here know who I should be speaking to?
