Anybody interested in buying a Treeman??

Post by Itsme »

Hi,

I asked around to cast this mini here (not the metal one):

Would anybody be interested in purchasing one for 25 EUR + shipping?
Casted in resin. He is really massive :) And the Halfling would be included as seperate figure.
Oh, and he stands on a 30 mm base.

I don't take orders right now, only to get a feeling how many would go.
There would be only 20-30 figures be casted and no more.
Even not in the future! So very limited.

Cheers

maybe try putting this into the other miniatures thread rather than the for sale thread. more people look in there, so more chance of it getting seen.

I won't buy it because it's not my cup of tea.
Anyway if I did like the mini, I wouldn't probably buy it anyway because it's made of resin and because of the price (I don't say the price is not correct, just that it's too much for me).
Another reason for not buying it would be that I already have 3 2nd ed treemen for my halflings and JBDemon's treeman for my Woodies.
Maybe other people is not interested because of other reasons but that's my thinking; I hope it helps :)

25 Euros is a lot for a model that size, it's even more than GW's prices. :o

If the hear you're selling a BB treeman for more they'll have to up the prices yet again.

Don't worry, the figure won't be made.

Got a price offer to produce the figure in metal and the final figure price would have been quite more.
So the choice was resin. To keep the costs "low".
The casting would have been professional, not homemade.

But it is interesting, nobody seems to like resin. But a lot of people convert plastic figures ...

To the mods, please lock the topic.

Thanks a lot.

Well, plastic is more convertable then resin. Less fragile, too.

Now, if you had a nice troll or ogre to cast, I'd be happy. But I have the Impact! treeman and 2 GWs, I have enough for now :)
