I'd say its just a matter of what teams you play against.
Dwarfs definately have the better of amazons early in the league, and they seem to be capable of holding off chaos or lizardmen in a fight.
But especially early in the league they seem to consistently lose 5-0 to any elf team youcare to field. Particularly wood elf who have a treeman to hold up the team.

I wouldnt say dwarfs are overpowered. Just different so you have to adapt your tactics to suit. That is part of the game, if every team played the same we may as well all play humans.

Dwarves are not overpowered at all IMHO
They have a lack of mouvement and AG.
I dont play Dwarves often but i dont have problems to play against.
i never founf them overpowered.
And they are very difficult to grow (in SPP i mean) :smoking:

I find it hard to belive that anyone(of the quality of intelect neccesary to enjoy a good game of blood bowl) would fail to know both Cowboy Bebop, and Groo!

MistWraith: Shame you're not coming to Amsterdam. Made two mix CDs to provide tournament music - one of them opens with "Tank!" ;)

As for Bullbear and narcotik: Mendicants. The pair of you.

Three, Two, One... Let's Jam

Have you seen "Knocking on Heaven's Door" yet? It's got a killer soundtrack.

Not released here yet. Got a big outing planned though. Gonna spend a weekend rewatching the series with some friends beforehand.

Don't know how interested in music you are but the Music For Freelance remix album is awesome: Luke Vibert, DJ Food, Mr Scruff, 4 Hero....

Yeah, it hasn't been released over here yet officially, but I saw the full movie in subtitled format about 9 months ago thanks to some connections a friend of mine has in local anime clubs. The same guy also has every CD ever put out under the Cowboy Bebop umbrella. If you've never heard Ed do a solo, you've missed something special.

"Heaven's Door" is like an extended, lavish episode. It's no "Real Folk Blues" but it is a lot of fun, and the opening sequence is classic.
