Re: Reviews and Previews:
OK, now I gotta back up and tell you why I bought these... and retract my earlier statement about them being "too small"....

I tend to run my linemen smaller than my positionals.... Line usually 28mm and positionals 30mm.... This led to me having Golems the size of old gw Ogres and St4-sized wights and weres... with ever so in-between ghouls....

I then picked up a pair of Mage Knight "Zombies" that are St4 compared to my current, gw, zombies (actually zombified Rotters)... but the same size as my Privateer Press wights (void spirit and Deryliss) and Secrets of the Reich werewolves....
So it became decision time... and, in the end, it was my letting scale creep into my team that led to a disproportionate look.... I'll eventually fix that....
So what does that have to do with the Steampunk Abominations 2? They actually ARE on same scale/size as a gw Rotter/Zombie/Skeleton... so would make good ghouls with those figures.... The only time they'd be too small is if you go "heroic"/30mm, as in an all Privateer Press team....
So I decided to ease back down my team scale to match my zombies and skeletons.... The Mage Knight Zombies will fill in as Golems and are already nicely painted as such.... I'll now be keeping my two Incursion Blitzhunds who are on the same scale.... I'm back to looking for wights... but Malifaux is coming out with "Gaki" that might be just right....

Re: Reviews and Previews:
Dropped by the local gamestore and they have loads of Reaper mini's, including this guy. He's PERFECT. Also found several beastmen, which scale a few mm too high but that might not be a bad thing. Also the Reptus mini's are a bit large, but offer excellent conversions for lizards and are just too cool for words. I'm thinking of the reptus line for lizzies with hatchlings as skinks. It would be a very unique team methinks.Digger Goreman wrote:Assuming that those are 28mm, standard trash cans... he's a big boy! But, maybe, not too big...(?)
To capture images, right click on the image and select "properties", then copy the url in the popup.... Then click "Img" under "Post a reply" (on this forum), then depress "ctrl" on your keyboard and then "V" while ctrl is still depressed... this will put the pic in your post....
For an example, click "reply", in this post, and look at the code:
Sasquatch is Out of Print, but you can still get two of them at Miniature-Giant for $6.65 USD each....

Also I saw some old RAFM 'snakemen', I forget the name, but they were AWESOME, I spent my hobby $ so they will have to wait til next time, but they have 9 unique fig's. You could double on a few to make a team, or convert a few from the same sized fantasy warriors. I think they were "gillas" or something like that.
