Saturday 2 October 2010 - a one day event comprising of 4 games each.

RULES
Click on the link below for the full rulespack, but in brief:-
- All Second Edition rules will be used, available here
- Every team must be created from scratch, with a cap of 150 points
- Skills can be bought at 5 points each, but all normal rules apply - i.e. Players only take skills they are normally eligible for, and no advanced skills can be taken unless the basic skill for that attribute has also been taken (and paid for). There is no upper limit on how many skills a single player can have provided you have the points to do so.
- Teams can purchase a Bribed Ref, Zlurpee Kegs, Cheerleaders and Magic Potions as part of their team, but Magic Potions are limited to 0-2 instead of 0-3
- Optional rules for the Face-Off and Stars on challenge dice being 2 Successes are to be used
- Games are to be played using the 2 minute warning deck (or a standard deck of cards + 2 jokers if you don't have a 2MWD)
- Points system will be taken from the tournaments section in the 2ed rules.

I'm going to start teaching Elfball to the unwashed masses at our local gaming club on Thursday nights, alternating between this and BB - hopefully a few locals will join in, but they're a stubborn bunch

Baby has now arrived safely, and my wife seems to have written the tourney onto the calendar (in pen!), so looks I am mostly definite. will try and get a fourth from Swindon, so we have a good car-full! 90% likely to be playing Black Widows - could keep the OP updated as people declare?
