That's the one - surprisingly, his date that night is the one he's moving in with... :o
I really feel old now... :(

Just a quick note to say I've been offered a goblin team so I'm not looking for one anymore.

The Gegg emerged victorious! Stu2 was second. Maybe he should start calling himself Stu1.

Thanks to Luke for another great event and all the hard work that involved. What a guy. :)

Cheers

Grats to all the winners and Geggster, looks like the egg is on a roll.

Thx everyone for making the effort to take part and helping the tournament run smoothly. I'm really pleased with how things went and that the search for a permanent venue for PK&Q looks to be over.

PS someone left their board and dugouts at the Royal star, I've got these safely at home. They look relatively new with some paint on the back of the board. If anyone knows who they belong to please let me know so I can arrange for them to get back to their owner.

Yep - he was a damn fine player.

I was worried that I had missed a trick by taking guard on a saurus that already had block after game 2 (break tackle would have been soooooooo much more useful in game 3) but then he rolled a doubles skill again after game 3 and he was awesome all through day two as a spearhead for a sideline drive.

Four blocking saurii (one with guard/SS) and two sidestepping skinks were practically optimum skills on reflection......
