Anyone willing to part with a ZARA the Slayer?

Post by whiskey tango foxtrot »

I'm interested in getting a ZARA the SLAYER model with out the ridiculuos eBay $$$ shananigans.

Is it possible some one in the community has one they'd like to part with?

Loose or blistered so I can paint her up -- thanks in advance.

You're better off going to Hasslefree ( http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk ) and seeing what they can offer you to be honest.

I've decided to use this alternative from Hasslefree Miniatures. The crossbow on her back is relatively easy to snip off but does come as part of a one part model. Only £3.50, seemed a bargain vs the £40-50 the official mini is getting nowadays.

(Thads beat me too it!)

How come Zara and Ramtut III are no longer available?

They are both really nice models and 2 of the newer stars. On the GW site they have 2 zugs and griffs (sadly the ugly 2nd version rather than the ok 1st one) as well as 2 of the worst models ever produced by GW (Hubris Rakarth and Jordell Freshbreeze).

That is a really good question. In fact Lycos was looking into it with GW at one point.

When they printed their last catalogue with BB in it they listed that they would be re-releasing Zara and Ramtut ... but that was a little over 2 years ago and they were never brought back.

Price for Zara is getting ridicolous.

I had two and sold one on ebay (october I think). She sold for 25 pounds. I had one but that one was for collection. I was contacted at end of auction from someone who was too late to bid. He offered me 150 pounds for zara. In that case zara took her bags and went on permanent vacation to Denmark.
