Ogre Thrower

Post by danwantsin2 »

Hi all,
GWUS have a figure named "Blood Bowl Ogre Thrower" (B151) for which the picture does not come up.

Does anyone know what this figure looks like or indeed which figure it is?

If so do you have a piccy?

Hmm I don't have a pic handy, but I am pretty sure it is the Ogre throwing a Goblin that was on the bloodbowl.com site a while ao.

The Beast is the Big Guy for the Nurgles. No official BB fig for him, you are supposed to use one from the WFB range.

Hmm, is this the one the called the " Great unclean one" at Warhammer or 40k ? quite ugly monster ?

If yes i got it already and painted also... as i remember there is a "new" version on sale right now. So i got the old one. I remember this one quite good, because my parents brought him at GW Hongkong for me, was not possible to get him in Germany this times... long time ago

No the Beast is definitely not the Great Unclean One. Follow my link above to see the ones in US store.

The days of the "all of seeing eye of Galak" are gone ... TBB has so many posts that I only read the topic titles that sound good anymore ... if your comment got buried under a topic with a header like "Question" (one of my favorites) ... I missed it ...

I think it said something like, Check out what I found GW selling on their website. It doesn't matter. I was surprised you hadn't caught the wave on these items yet.

The "all seeing eye of Galak"?? Sounds like a magic item or spell. If anyone still uses the special play cards, maybe that could be added in. :D

Magic Item card:
All Seeing Eye of Galak
Play this card at the beginning of a drive. One player of your choice gains 360 degree vision for the drive. The player gains the skills Diving Catch, Diving Tackle, Pass Block, and Side Step until the end of the drive to represent his ability to see every thing happening around him perfectly.

The eye thing came from one of Toby's posts ... liked it in jest so I don't mind using it.
