Re: The legendary Screamin'Bells [New Skaven/Rat-Team]
lovely sculpts Lukas, just keep in mind the plane of the mini for casting.. all those rags and strips of torn material look great, but will probably have to be cast separately, resulting in a 5 or 6 part mini.. costs more to cast, costs more to sell, resulting in fewer sales.. a lot of gamers like 1 piece minis for good reason.. generally cheaper to buy and no glue required!
just want to put it on your radar...

Re: The legendary Screamin'Bells [New Skaven/Rat-Team]
is this only me or the angle of the picture or does the shoulder pad and head position on the thrower look a bit odd in the last picture? The should pad goes to the middle of the body, where usually the neck would be ... the head looking over the left shoulder makes room for that, but where's the shoulder pad when the head is in his regular position?
Always hard to judge though without a 3d view

I would also like to see the Thrower with his mouth closed. And if he was squinting too, that would look great as well.

Re: The legendary Screamin'Bells [New Skaven/Rat-Team]
@all:
big THANKS for feedback!
@ bungo_underhill:
i can calm you, the rat is still WiP
@ Norse:
I think this is a problem in general. Sure, the static figures would be more easy to cast, and (like you have written) the whole miniature will be cheaper.
But the other way round, a dynamic figure -in my opinion- is much more suitable than a static one. Further more sculpting dynamic rats a lot of fun
So if there is no technical problem in reference to casting process, i would definitely prefer the dynamic version, even if it's more expensive.
But I don't know what other people prefer, that is just my point of view. (And if people would like to have boring, static, one piece rats they could use "Skaven"...
)
@ Tom:
I changed the shoulder pad, thanks for pointing out that fact. (pics will follow soon)
Best regards,
shitzzo

These guys are looking great, shitzzo, I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished team!shitzzo wrote:@Blueschild: the "modern" coach is probably not everybodys case... but i think if goblins fight with chain saws, a besuited rat-coach should be ok.
And don't worry, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a "modern," besuited rat-coach! (As you can tell from that link, though, I might be a bit biased on that point

Great figure! But in my opinion more a mouse than a rat.
I hope the Rat-Thrower is finished now (at least i found nothing more to do, but maybe someone here will find something to improve)
The mouth is still opened, i could not finally manage to make up a new head, so i nothing new here...
To give you the feeling of a 3D-look, i took a short video:

Great, the videos give a much better impression of the figures. Absolutely love them ...
You need to spend the money you make with this team on a more silent PC though

Hi bungo_underhill,
sadly nothing new... but i'm trying to hurry up
But here you can see the sponsor of the screamin'bells. It's (original) a german beer called "Warsteiner" and the translation of the changed label is something like "Warpstoner's"

Next rat will be a jumping one. The pose should be similar to a hurdler.
But at the moment there is not enough time to procced...
