So far there have been 2 NAF registered Tournies where coaches have been able to sign up..1 in England and 1 in the U.S.....Thetian wrote:[SOAPBOX MODE ON]
All this talk of 'Just got to a NAF event and sign up." $%!# I wish we had some NAF events here in the US! I think most of the folks asking how to join have been from the US. Our only option at the moment is to either travel to Europe for an NAF event or wait for the website. Given the choices, I think the later is the most reasonable. But the website isn't up yet. Perhaps you can understand our frustration. So, in the mean time, stop glaoting!

Whew!
I feel better already!

Coming up ( I believe ) we have the Pandemonium Cup in Toronto, and Cancon in Canberra Aus...hot on the heels of that is Fanaticon (Milwaukee) and the Dutch Open (Holland) on the same weekend (1-2nd Feb). Next one in England is the BB..
So it ain't exactly Europe only right now..far from it...
I appreciate that you guys live on a big continent etc..but these BB tournies happen because people make them happen....geography dictates that everybody can't have a ready made tourney in their own backyard..

Just a small note about it... I wrote a looong text I finally thrown away.
PLease, what makes me loving this game since a looot of years is the friendly relationship around it. Don't become boneheaded customers... I noticed it in an online league I'm currently playing in... Don't forget those guys (I don't include me in, cause I got any programming skills) are spending time for free, for you only !!! THey should play blood bowl, or make something else, but they work on it... Frankly, no offence meant, I should understand the will to see it, but keep in mind you're players not customers, and that you're also part of the developpment (see DW post: why not organizing more and more tournaments in US? we would be glad to see them becoming NAF events!)

Relax, it's was just a joke. I would volunteer my services, but apart from putting the prokect back 18 months while I learn {whatever computer language you code webpages in} I don't see what good I'd do.Anthony_TBBF wrote:No, I don't. The person who is finishing up the coding is working his nuts off. If you didn't volunteer to help, you have no right to complain.Feel better now Anthony?
Sorry

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
