many, many thanks for your efforts and kindness and balance. If the game should ever die, you can never say you didn't try (and neither we will, anyway).

I think I'll send you a PM to check some move I'm planning.

Been back for the past few months following these latest rules created by the community and I have to pass my thanks also..

Politics is a bitch really, but your heart was in the right place, and I hope you continue to play blood bowl based on the rules you created with your own hands for the years to come.

Many thanks from me and a dozen or more local gamers who play the game but are not here online to post there thanks

Thanks Tom, I very much enjoy playing LRB6

It can be very easy to just skim over the fact that you spent 3000 hours on the LRB but when you consider that time could have been spent on other things like family and friends it sinks in. I dont think I could dedicate 3000 hours to it.

When you think about it, it is on average 2 hours every night for 4 years, just dont mention it to his wife!

If Tom was paid £10 an hour then he would be owed £30,000 yet they cant recognise this tremendous dedication.

All this demonstrates to me is that GW do not care about their fanbase. I was 90% made up to buy the new Space Hulk but that money will go to Games Workshops competitors who value customers and the guys who do things for them free of charge, like Impact

You are a better man than I Tom, if I were you, I probably would have stuck 2 fingers up at them

Tom,

thanks a million for all the work you've put in. I admire you for the way you've handled the process and the way you've handled the abuse that came with it. I do hope that in some way or form GW will acknowledge the work you put in. Besides the thanks of the community you do deserve that even if the game itself is of no importance to them.

Thanks Tom, your work is truly appreciated. What a herculean effort. Hopefully you can make it over to the UK one day and I can buy you a pint and shake your hand.

GW are a disgrace. The thing that annoys me is that they are bad businessmen. Not caring about your customers is par for the course. But refusing to make money on something for no evident reason is so frustrating. If GW let someone in the community run BB sales for them they could make them hundreds of thousands of pounds per year for no capital investment or opportunity cost. Idiots.

Btw, now you have been kicked out Tom, can you spill the beans on some of the things you teased us with over the years? Like JJ's original LRB5 draft?

Thanks again
Joe

It is no more frustrating than being a Newcastle United fan Im afraid!

I sometimes feel Mike Ashley has shares in GW its run so badly!

Sorry for going off topic!

Newcastle? Try being a Watford fan today.

I can take a guess why this happened. Not shocked. One more reason to pour scorn on Granny. Wow.

I used to be a LRB4 zealot, but somewhere along the line, Tom's patient explanations turned me around. Today, I couldn't go back anymore.

And even as these miserable corporate tools abuse him, Tom remains calm and selfless. Truly impressive, and humbling.

Thanks Tom. I wonder how many people here would be still playing the game if not for your time and effort?

I was wondering this! I'd be very interested to hear the real-life history of Blood Bowl. Maybe post LRB6...

The world of BB seems to be in a state of flux right now! :o

Big thanks to Galak though. Your time and effort has obviously enhanced BB immeasurably for so many of us. LRB6 is the best yet, so a big well done to you and to the BBRC.

Sheesh Tom, so they have deposed the one-eyed man from the "Land of the Blind" throne. You led them where we wanted and for that you will always be one of the greats.

I echo the others, you could have a massive bar bill in the UK taken care of without question.

To quote Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear fame.... "Love your work"
