LuteceBowl 2010 on the road again
Some details still have to be fixed but we will notice you about them as soon as possible.
The big news for this tournament: we try the “All inclusive”, to have a great week-end. For this we are going to Fort de Bruyère (Aisne) the week-end of 1st and 2nd of May
But this formula has a constraint; we have to limit the registration to 20 teams (100 coaches).
As last year, we are going to do a “team tournament”, 5 coaches per team and tournament rate is still 40€ (2 lunches, 1 dinner and 2 breakfasts and nights).
To help us about the registration we ask you to organize the team and only the captain sends registrations for all the team (name of coaches, and the payment for all : 200€, don’t send rosters) at this postal address:

The captain has to ensure that each coach in the team will play a different race.
You can pre-registered team, you just have send a mail to crew@lutececup.org, with a clear subject as : [LB2k10] team registration
(pre)Registred teams will be managed on our forum, and we will do our best to do it on NAF’s forum or on ex-TBB.
We will open a specific thread on our forum or send us an email to crew@lutececup.org, for those who don’t have team and would like to participate, we will do our best to include them in a team.

Not too sure, the whole team-idea just isnt my style I think. I didnt mind last year, but it's not something that makes me want to go more...

team value should be 110, about skills we have to finalize it, I can say it will be 5 minimum, might be 6 it will have a double. And I think we will do something like last year : 3 skills at the begining of the first day and the rest at the begining of the second one.
No we are thinking about probable second way, a greater team value but you will have to buy skills in your roster. The Ain pact tested this method in first and it looks work.
Anyway we are going to fix it for january.
let me know if you have any other questions and what do you think about our 2 ways about skill rules.
another think, we will use the last LRB, it means the 6 validated by GW if it's done else the current LRB5 and anyway we will accept chaos pact, underworld and slane.

The competition is coming soon. Coaches are gathering to build up their teams and to plan which dirty tricks they’re going to use.
One thing is sure: this year’s Lutecebowl will be hot… filled with a lot of surprises and emotions! Here are some news for you to catch a glimpse of this week-end (we still keep a few jokers in our pack

This year’s Lutecebowl will take place in an old military fort, which has been renovated by local associations. The place is also well known by LARP players. Here are some pictures :

The good news: the tournament is “all inclusive”. This means that the price includes everything from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.
The bad news: a military fort also means… a little bit like a Spartan place. So you should bring at least a sleeping bag and a mattress, and at best a tent you can pitch in the grassy area.
The fort has also some water tanks, which should be filled up. So you will be able to take shower, but we have to ask you for moderation in the use of water.
Rules :
This is a team tournament (5 coaches with 5 different races).
Rulebook : LRB 6.0 with the 3 additional races: slaan, underworld, chaos pact.
Resurrection system :
* TR 110
* Dead and injured players come back after each game without any alteration
* No winnings for the matches – the same team roster will be used during the 5 games
* No star player point / no improvement roll
Skills :
* 3 normal skills for Saturday morning
* 2 additional skills (1 normal skill + 1 “double” skill) for Sunday morning
* Maximum 1 skill to a single player
* Halflings coaches can choose 5 “double” skills
* No inducement except the Halfling Master Chef for Halfling teams (100k) and the bribe for goblin teams (100k)
Paint Bonus :
At Lutece we love the pretty teams. To symbolize that, the entirely painted teams (at least 3 colours + base for all the miniatures) will get a small advantage: +1 in fame.
This bonus cannot be used to get more than +2 in fame during a match.
Rankings :
Team rankings :
At each round, your team of 5 coaches will play against another team: 10 points to share (2 points per match)
Win: 2 points for the winning coach
Draw: 1 point for each coach
Tie breaker: sum of the individual rankings of the team’s 5 coaches
Individual rankings:
Win : 300 points
Draw : 100 points
Loss : 0 points
TD : 3 points per TD
Casualty : 2 points per casualty
Interception : 2 points per interception
Passing completion : 1 point per passing completion
Schedule :
Saturday : the very last deadline to take part in the tournament is 9:00
9:45 : round 1
12:00 : lunch
14:00 : round 2
16:30 : round 3
19:30 : dinner and start of the game party
Sunday :
10:00 : round 4
12:15 : lunch and painting contest
14:00 : round 5
17:00 : Award ceremony
All the matches have to be played in less than 2 hours 15 minutes. As soon as the organization thinks that a match starts to be behind schedule, stopwatches will be dealt to the 2 coaches for them to be able to complete their match under fair conditions.
Catering :
This year, we hope we can come with a powerhouse team in charge of catering and of special animations.
Like last year, a draft beer tap will be available because we know that playing bloodbowl makes everyone thirsty.
Awards :
As the Lutecebowl is a team tournament, main trophies will reward teams. However, we still want to reward some individual accomplishments (casualties, touchdowns, fouls…)

it was simply insanely cool.
BUBBLE did well but we had two completely flubbed rounds .. despite that we were on table 1 two rounds and did the wave after every team-TD

Thx to the tourney organizer for a great weekend of bloodbowlfun.
Excellent atmosphere, a lot of drinks, perfect food and nice opponents.
Amazing Maurice was not that happy with the result but who cares? Shitloads of fun. Hope we can make it next year...
