I know there's the 0-6 rotters misprint, but is it meant to say that a Deathroller no longer provides you with the Stand Firm trait, or is that left out on purpose? And is the poisoned dagger meant to be 30000gps? All other weapons got cheaper compared to the 4th edition rules, but this one trippled in cost...
Furthermore, I almost like the Secret Weapon Rules, only, I think the chance of getting your weapon claimed by the ref is quite large. This is not a problem with all the cheap other weapons, but it is with a 80000gps Deathroller... (Maybe the first weapon theat gets send off should only be claimed by the ref on a 6+, and any other weaponm after that on a 4+, as the team was warned after the first.)

Look at the Deathroller this way. Currently you pay 75k for ONE game to have him as a Star. The new rules give you a 50% of him showing up for the next game also. IE a lot better value for your money.Redfang wrote:I know there's the 0-6 rotters misprint, but is it meant to say that a Deathroller no longer provides you with the Stand Firm trait, or is that left out on purpose? Also ... 10k for the Dagger was WAAAAAYYYYY to cheap. I'm glad to see the price go up.
Finally, yeah, I'm betting JKL meant for the DeathRoller to have Stand Firm at least I'm pretty sure he would agree that this should still be one of the stats.

Yep, the Deathroller is a typo. It should clearly have Stand Firm.
Prices were modified based on how often were the items were likely to be confiscated. Confiscation is more likely if the penalty roll is higher. If Confiscation was more likely, then the price was lower.

Yep, but I didn't use him then, and I don't think I'll use him now either.GalakStarscraper wrote: Look at the Deathroller this way. Currently you pay 75k for ONE game to have him as a Star. The new rules give you a 50% of him showing up for the next game also. IE a lot better value for your money.

I hoped the Deathroller would be made OK to replace my ogre, which I don't like having in my team, but do need under the current circumstances. (discussed this earlier).
Losing 80000gps every two matches just isn't going to work as a replacement for an ogre. (unless I might want to keep TR low)

I have not recieved BB mag #5 yet so is that expermental on the Death roller being used for two matches or is that official League Rules. I think this might help the old Dwarfs win some damm games and keep up with all of these new teams!
Also I agree buy a Orge but since the Dwarfs have the ability to get more money (although I would prefer a wizard) this may help the team in League play win more damm games against all these new "flashy updated teams" If this is a league rule glad to see it! Would be nice to see it as a Big Guy as well.............. but keep the other rule too
