Lot of talk, but little action here. Here are some experimental rules for Rock teams:

Code: Select all

Position Qty MA ST AG AV Skills/Traits Skill Access Cost
Linerock 0-12 0 7 0 12 Stand Firm None 50k
Blocker 0-6 0 8 0 12 Stand Firm, Block None 100k

Rerolls: Don't be silly! Rocks can't be trained.

Special rules: Rocks doesn't have Tackle Zones. Knocking down a rock has no effect.
OK, they're not very good, but they stand a good chance at getting a draw against Treeman teams.

So, do you think I should submit it to BBMag?

;)

Well, they look a lot more balanced than some of the recent experimental roosters they've published

I would add they ignore KO's and Stunned results.

I wonder if Galak will let me play them in MBBL2? :?:

Star Player : The Rock

6, 6, 4, 9 : Block Dodge, mighty blow, piling on
Special rule: when you smell what the rock is cooking.....

You know The Rock is number one.

True. The simplest way would be to just say that they can't be knocked down at all.

I also forgot to say that they can't make go-for-its...

Good idea! They're so useless, that they should have a really skilled star player to compensate...

Rocky "the Rockstar":
0 8 0 12 Block, Break Tackle, Dodge, Catch, Leap, Sure Hands, Pass Block, Dump Off, Stand Firm 150k

Might be too powerful, though... :)

I get the impression that noone on here knows who "THE ROCK" is....
can it be?

I figure "the peoples elbow" is essentially piling on, and some how the skill name piling on appeals to me as a rock skill.

I note that you gave the blockers block, what do they have that linerocks dont? are they more skilful? Or just bigger.

They really are such a versatile team.

Are you allowed to throw a block with a rock? Or can you get a rock lobber that throws a rock "throw teammate" style. Then you may need crew....... i cant see rocks working for that, maybe a freebooter linesman from another team?
