Sounds like a sensible option to me, otherwise you could just save your turn after/before every action, and just reply until you got a favourable result.Baduk wrote:No saving during your turn, only at the end of your turn (or did I miss that option?)
I have seen the DS version and it is TERRIBLE

I agree as it seems like a waste of an upper screen just to have a large score board there.Baduk wrote:ah crap, might have missed some already but thanks anyway, will pay attention to it next time.
I want a ST4 GR like I had/have on FUMBBL![]()
That's one more thing I really miss in the game: you don't see the dice rolls and modifiers. The upper-screen should have been used for that.

Yes it's out but I also had to make quite some effort to get it. I had to call the store twice after it was supposed to be in store. Apparently something went wrong at the distributor. Just call them I'd say.
Btw. My game crashed twice during half time or the set-up after scoring. It shows no players on the setup screen and nothing works anymore. Anyone else have this problem? After reloading for a third time (and getting another CAS yay) it worked fine. So now i tend to save before the last turn in a match to make sure I don't have to replay the entire half again.

I´ve had the same problem, but since i was playing with a ROM,i thought that it would have something to do with that...Baduk wrote:

What i do is,save right before i score...if it crashes then, you dont have to play the entire half again.
To finish,i would like to say that,i do not think that the DS version stinks that much...i think that the core of the board game is all there, and the minor bugs are tolerable...about the graphics...well,its a DS...and even if i think they could do it a little better...its OK.
Cheers

Actually being forced to use the stylus is a very bad choice, FFtactics, Valkyrie profile (and other tactial rpgs) also show the same view and you can choose to play with stylus or with the pad, this is lot more comfortable and the pad is more precise.AbraxiS wrote:

The only use of this game would be to play with your roommate in a train or a plane... every other use is beaten by something else:
-training against the IA -> use the PC version (not better, but prettier)
-playing against a real person -> use minis and a real board
-playing online -> impossible

They must have changed that, because when I saw the DS version at the Press day in Nottingham, I played without a stylus.Elyoukey wrote:Actually being forced to use the stylus is a very bad choice,

I personally like the stylus, but yes i do think that they should give us other control option...even i cant think of any, because you need the pad to scroll the pitch...anyway,that would be their problemElyoukey wrote:

But again, the DS version stands only for what it is...a portable version that gives you the opportunity to play (basic) BloodBowl anywhere...in a plane,work...or even in the bathroom...well,now that i think of it,i once carried my portable PC to the bathroom...but then,by the half of the second game,my legs started to hurt...but i think you get my point...

In Valkyrie profile, you can zoom in out, turn the board, choose your caracters, move them make several actions all without the stylus and you can see exactelly what you are doing without any chance of a missclick.AbraxiS wrote: I personally like the stylus, but yes i do think that they should give us other control option...even i cant think of any, because you need the pad to scroll the pitch...anyway,that would be their problem
On the DS version, i had a hard time to pick a gob hidden behind a Rat ogre.

I loaded a game yesterday and it just ended turns until the game was over.
"end of turn" "end of turn" "end of turn" etc...
luckily I was winning 2-0
and this morning I had a legendary pitch invasion. I had 3 Gutter Runners and one Stormvermin still standing...
The ENTIRE opposite orc team was prone! weird...
