Treeman or Treekin?

Post by Dain »

Hi guys,
I'm planning to build a new woodelf team and had a look at the treemen available in GW store. I know there are many others from many compagnies but I prefer GW ones. Nobody's perfect 8)

Just wondering if any of you have ever bought a treeman from WH Fantasy battle or those Treekin relative. Do you any idea about their difference in term of size? I believe that with some shoulder pads and helmet, they could easily make a goo BBowl treeman :P

why asking? The treeman is 85aud and Treekin 33 aud ... a huge difference!

This is a tree-kin in my dryad wood elf team. Dryad plastics are only slightly taller than Wood Elves so you can see the tree-kin is not much taller. You can imagine how big the full-size treeman would be

Thanks,
So the treekin can fit on a 25mm base and is quite small compare to the real Treeman. Well, I guess it explains the difference in the price but it means that if I want a real Treeman, I better buy the 85$ one
Jeeze ...

If you are planning on using gw's treeman in BB games you'll be in for a surprise cuz he is way too big for a BB pitch. A bit 40K Hive tyrant sized which is really big.

I would consider the treekin more or there are always other options. Ive seen nicer treemen here then the original gw ones.

juss my 2cents

I can't find this Ent in Lotr section. Are you sure it is from this range?

Yeah, now they do plastic ents, they have probably stopped doing the metal one.

the problem you will have with the GW treeman is that he is HUGE. Would not fit on a base for BB.
