Put me on the interested list.

I've just given our graphics lady some feedback we received over the weekend at the HQ Bowl and here on TBB of course.

As soon as I get some new material, I'll (try to) post it asap!

Cheers and thanks already to all of you who have shown interest. Still looking for moer people though to make the project feasable!

I expect an update on the artwork next Sunday. Hope you will all be baffled by it ...

... as I unfortunately have some bad news as well. Due to a calculation error we are obliged to increase the price per board with 5 euro for a grand total of 30 euro per board. Stil not that bad for a pitch including dugouts that folds up in a very small format if you ask me.

So hopefully this is stil manageable for all who have already shown interest, if not we understand (although it would make us feel guilty) if you want to pull back out of the project.

Hopefully some more people will get in this project as for now we have not yet attained our marker to start producing the boards.

So everybody, make people in your league aware of this project so that we hit the marker asap!

Cheers,
Seb

Hi Quermitt,

any news about the shipping costs?

Can you let us know where your marker for production is.
Are there only 5 or 20 or even more missing?

Thank you

Shipping is still under a spyglass. But seeing that the pitch will be between 300 and 1000 grams (postal rates) it will be at least € 10,00 to ship to any country in Europe. And that's even without track & Trace.

If you visit any tournament frequently or have a friend who does, that would make it a lot more simple.

For next year I myself plan to go to Paris, Frankfurt and Stuttgart next year. Lot's of French and German players there who would be willing to bring along a pitch for you. also there is the BrassBowl for the English players. I know Lycos is most likely coming over. So we can stash his car with pitches too.

And if the pitches are ready before Eurobowl, I hope we can give a few along with the Belgian Team.

Also I know people are going to Dungeon Bowl, so that's a possible stopover for the pitches as well.

I'm afraid that will be all we can do to get the pitch to you without any costs.

Hope any of the above is a solution for you.

I have seen the folding diagram in real. It folds in 6 and goes down to the size of a A4 standard paper. This means that folded down it is a lot thicker then normal folded pitch because the thickness of the board is roughly the same.

It actually folds down like a "harmonica". This means you get a board that folds down four times on both sides (left and right) and then those two sides fold again. In practice this means that a 596 x 840 mm pitch folds down to 210 x 297 mm!!!

Like Magictobe said you get a rather thick piece of cardboard, but that has both a pitch and dugouts on it and we really don't want to compromize regarding the quality of the cardboard.

I'll try to post some pictures asap, but hope you can wait until I get some new art work in as well so I can post both in one go in one nice and clean post. I already saw what "the lady" did to the pitch and I was completely baffled by the mysterious magical aura surrounding it ...

Keep your eyes peeled out for pictures by tomorrow evening!

Cheers,
Seb
