I've played a few of the other GW games.
I liked the old Warhammer 40K. That was entertaining, now, the new edition is a bit.. unpersonal. I've player warhammer quest, which is a sort of D&D, with mini's and D6 system. Entertainning, but I think most other roleplaying systems would just be way cooloer if U used minis to repreesent the dungeon and setting. I've tried necromunda as well. I think U all will be happy to know that people died a lot more often playing blood bowl, then in shootouts. Another game from Games Workshop that was fun, was Spacehulk. Don't hink it's published anymnore, but it had the entire Aliens 2 feeling. It was cool. Could be made very fun if remade.
Ok, I have to say, I'm a bit taken aback by some of the attitudes here concerning new teams. It's sounds a little bit like, "we don't want change, cuz we knmow what we have, but not what we will get" mentality over it. If it ain't broke, then don't fix it. I'm not sure I agree with this. The chaos team is fun to play, and properly balanced, but boring as hell. And we are talking Chaos here. In the Warhammer world, Chaos are so diverse, there are so many options, so many ways to put them together. Sure, keep the old CHaos team, for those who like it, but release a few different chaos themes, to satisfy all those who feel there is so much more to chaos.
And if you dislike the new undead teams, play using the old team lists. Nothing more to it really.
Heads up!
