Hi
We are having a discussion on what a winning team will get in our league.
At the moment we get a reroll (and we can get 3 if we win Division, Cup and Champions League) and some teams don't need rerolls!
What do you other coaches have for the winner?
Brisbane (BABBL) have +1FAME and thats cool. Not too overpowered, but a good alternative.

I am not a believer in in-game rewards, as I find that they distort the system unnecessarily. And you are normally giving the best coach a further advantage that he manifestly does not need.
I believe rewards should be outside of the system. For example, we have a little league which started with a ridiculously high number of Orc teams (4). To encourage coaches to "help Orc teams with their TV", I posted a reward of specially brewed Bloodweiser for "the finest Orc death".
After quite a long while, a newbie coach duly obliged with not one, but two dead Orcs in the same match. I managed to find a locally brewed ale by the wonderfully appropriate name of Wobbly Boot. A couple of bottles of this went down very well.
All the best.

I agree: no in-game rewards for winning a postseason tournament. A few ideas...
a) Everyone agrees to chip in and buy a new team for the winner.
b) Everyone goes out and buys the winner dinner.
c) Everyone chips in for a nice trophy.
d) Buy some other gift for the winner, like some good booze.
Nothing that costs anyone enough to hurt, but enough that it's a motivator when you consider that all the other coaches chip in.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

How about a 'trophy'?
In the beginning of our league a player volunteers, and its builds a small trophy (roughly the same size of the GW ones) made from extra bits, or modeling putty or whatever he wants, and then paints it.
Sometimes a couple of players join to do it, one builds and the other paints.
Trophys dont need to be 'master pieces' but we've been surprised with the quality that sometimes shows up.
It has been working great for us.
Cheers
