The reaper "Ape-X" just came in today....

HOLY SHINIKIES TO THE AWESOME RAD MAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.reapermini.com/figurefinder#detail/50031

In size he matches up to the second edition Trolls and Ogres... but is such an *overload of positive explecitives deleted* sculpt that I'll happily explain all day that he represents a 4 St Flesh Golem! I'm even considering getting a second one and either putting up with the drill... or intentionally putting the hand on backwards (will look fine except the thumb will be on the wrong side) to make him different from the other....

Either that, or match him up with Mad Puppet's "Brute" http://www.madpuppetminiatures.com/main ... =cat&cat=2 as they have similar weapons....

For that occasion when a chainsaw is called for: http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/pr ... test/50091

Bob Olley proves, again, why he is such a master mini sculptor... just look at the detail on that zombie!

Arrrg!, June won't be here soon enough....

Thanks for all the links Digger; I've been starting to look for mini's to put together my own custom Necromantic team and have gotten a lot from what you have posted.

Quick questions, have you found any loose chainsaws. I am looking for a chainsaw, but do not want to purchase a fig just to cut the chainsaw off of him to put on another model. The closest thing I have found would be GW's 40K hand-to-hand sprue (the chainsword) but I would like something that looks more like a chainsaw and less like a sword.

Good question... I don't know if it's worth $9 USD for a glove with a chainsaw (though it DOES say "ZOMBIENATOR") but you'll also have a full figure (sprue comes with : Right hand chainsaw/machete and Left hand hook/cleaver choices).... http://www.reapermini.com/figurefinder#detail/50037

Checked Heresy and they haven't done a chainsaw yet....

In addition to what Digger already posted, I would suggest that the 40K Ork Boyz chainswords are much better for BB conversion than the Marine version (I have a bunch myself for that very reason). Also, Hasslefree makes a "Zombie Hunter Weapons" sprue that's got a chanisaw on it, along with 3 guns, for GBP 1.50:

Thank you Lahatiel, that is exactly what I am looking for.

Thank you also Digger for your search, I was going to buy the Zombienator for the chainsaw.

I've received the E&F poses and am quite happy... a smidgeon more so than with the Sinspawn.... Enough so that I'm asking an ebay seller if he has the A&B poses (for the option of Undead)....

In fact, I'm overtly tempted to bring my painted Anubis "werewolves" back onto the field (and others) for an Egyptian, Necromancer feel....

In doing a little more research on the Werewolf-like "Wolfshayne" (a superb sculpt that I was hoping would make the field), I found that they are REALLY too large:

Darn... :pissed:

Here's the figs for an Egyptian-style, Necromantic team:

Werewolves (Impact Miniatures):

Wights (Impact Miniatures & GW):

Nurgle "pestigor" fits the Egyptian style of the team

Ghouls (Wargods of Aegyptus):

Zombies (GW & Incursion):
Nothing too Egyptian looking... I'll stick with my faves:
Rotters 1, 2, 3 painted with GW "Rotting Flesh" http://www.blood-bowl-miniatures.de/bb/bb5_nurgls.html
http://www.incursiongame.com/products/bomberzombies

Golems(?)... I don't know right now....

Hhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm,... they DO regenerate....

http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/2009/05/04/26505

Trollblood Troll Whelps $13.99
Whelps are one of the inevitable consequences of the tremendous regenerative powers of full-blood trolls: short-lived degenerate creatures arising from severed limbs or other substantial pieces of disconnected tissue. If caught with no other food source handy, trolls will eat their whelps with no more regard than any other chunk of meat, fueling the troll’s regenerative powers.

... and I just looked at the "Blood Runners".... Chaos Pact Marauders, anyone...?

I'm hoping the whelps are man-sized... or you're quite right... they have the "character" for gobbos....

I'm trying to be positive about Blood Runners.... I wouldn't insult a sculpters work by suggesting they be elves.... :puke:
