I think I prefer the greater randomness of a single deck at 50k if you are getting them for free. Otherwise I'd keep them split.your league may choose to combine all the 50,000 gold piece decks into one 52 card deck

Acutally both ways are allowed. You can combine or not, its up to the league.

We have Hulk on one and Goblin Chirugon on another. Wonderful.

4 days to the UK!! The Lords of International Post must love you!Marlow wrote:Just got home from work and all three decks are here and they look great!

I should say here, as well: I have no idea how long it will take for any of these packages to arrive. Canada Post gives VERY rough estimates, that are not at all reliable (10-21 days to the UK via airmail). Delivery time will depend on the postal systems on both sides, and customs in your own country. I've marked them in such a way as to hopefully avoid customs delays, but again, once I handed them across the counter at the Post Office, my ability to speed the process or estimate delivery times ended

They have arrived!
Only had time for a quick look - they are bit smaller than what I was expecting (an observation not a complaint!) I pictured them the size of regular playing cards.
Thanks a bunch! They are great!

Glad to hear you're finally receiving your cards and that you're happy with my silly clip-art and pop-culture images (and about thirty pics from BB sources, and few from actual football). This has been a long ordeal, longer than it should have been given printer mishaps, but I am happy to hear that it's been worth the trouble in the end. I found that with the cards in the rulebook, and the painful expedient of using a regular deck of playing cards (I don't even own a regular deck of playing cards) and cross-referencing the rules, meant that no-one was using them. I wanted to see that change in our own league. So for my part, I'm glad to have been able to make a deck for myself, some for our club, and to use the combination of multiple participants to keep the unit cost down (making a single deck was hillariously prohibitive, but at our number the cost per person was manageable). Add to which it's nice to be able to contribute to the culture of a game that has been so much fun for me for many years. Knowing that sets of cards that I made will be used in the UK and Australia is a bit of a kick. Cheers.
PS: Yes, one of the rulebook options for the cards was that you could shuffle all 4 50K decks together. I obviously didn't design these cards with that option in mind, so if your league uses it, you'll have to make your picks with your eyes closed.

Or you could just use a regular set of playing cards for 50k picks and look at the tables. After that, swap it with the corresponding card.civilian_number_two wrote: PS: Yes, one of the rulebook options for the cards was that you could shuffle all 4 50K decks together. I'm assuming the back of the card identifies the deck its from then?civilian_number_two wrote:PS: Yes, one of the rulebook options for the cards was that you could shuffle all 4 50K decks together. In that case it isn't that much of a handicap - shuffle them all together and you'll know which suit the card is in. Its still 1 from 13 which makes it hard to guess the effect or plan around it.
Not ideal, but difficult to make something aethestically pleasing that would work both ways.

Cards arrived, and I'm in Sydney, Australia. Thats faster than I expected.
The cards are absolutely excellent. Im so happy with my deck. As for how to pick 50k cards? I'm happy enough with just shuffling& cutting the stack. Even if the color does identify the deck, it would take a lot of practice to effectively cut to the color you want. Sure it probably could be done, but I dont think me or my friends will have a problem.
Cant wait to get out my sub TR100 gobbies and challenge up!

Yeah, those all work. We just went with the option that allowed you to select the deck from which you were drawing. I designed the cards accordingly. If you go with the option that allows you to shuffle the 50K cards together, you're on your oiwn.
