I like them too but aren't they too tall ? They seem to be as tall as a GW BB mummie or a GW BB flesh golem, no ?

Tallness, per se, doesn't bother me... overall bulk will tell.... I used to use gargoyles with the figs on pedestals and with wings... worked fine....

I'll have to get them in, but I may have finally weaned myself off of 2nd edition zombies! (they're actually awesome, but....)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0120789608
Got this little gem, today... just hope the scythe isn't attached to the body... but may be able to work with it....

I already use 2 5th Edition rotters done up as zeds: http://www.blood-bowl-miniatures.de/ Rotters 1 & 2....

And I ordered a couple of BomberZombies from Incursion games: http://www.incursiongame.com/products/b ... es#feature

That's gonna be one PUTRID line... and I'm lovin' it!!!!

Now that's a dim-witted specimen....

I'll hi-jack my own thread:

I need another Troll figure like I need another recession.... Yet, this fig matches what I believe to be the definition of the Blood Bowl, Really Stupid, Troll... as dim-witted and blood-thirsty as they come:

Maybe I'll do it for my C-Pact team....

Just got in Privateer Press/Warmachine Mechanithralls box set (got a good price on ebay) and I'm well pleased! All minis stand ~ 1 3/8 inches and heft is pretty standard for 28mm "heroic" figs.... The figs could do well for Zombies, Skellies, and Rotters. The minis are designed to have rotted guts/bodies and skeleton heads.... I could see them easily doing quadruple duty for Necro/Undead/Nurgle/Khemri....

I'm considering doing various different looks for my necro teams (and, in effect with changing minis, have done just that!), and see grand possibilities with Hordes/Warmachine minis.... I'm already getting a couple of Hordes Void Spirits for my current team to replace the Wights, though, in looking at the Withershadow Combine http://www.privateerpress.com/WARMACHIN ... ure&id=407 there would be your Wights + Coach figure!

So much metal goodness out there!

Got the figs and there's the typical good news/bad news....

First the bad news: it's in FIVE pieces!!!!! Lower torso/upper torso/left arm/right arm/head.... Normally, heck always, I hate putting together multi-part minis....

The good news? Everything seems to fit together perfectly, it's a clean sculpt and NOTHING is on a sprue! Whew...!

Sat next to an Impact Anubis thrower/blitzer, it's maybe a head above them.... Not significantly tall to make the rest of the team look bad or out of scale....

I'll no doubt love them when they're done....

Back to the Incursion Blitzhunds (Werewolves)....

the sculpt, in spite of worries bout "skaven-ish-ness", has a very dynamic, werewolf look.... The upper body and arms are buff-human, with digitigrade legs and a werewolf head tapering in the back to a ridge of fur that disappears under the armor....

While it comes with a "50 gallon barrel", which the hand "pins" to, that the wolf is leaping over, the Incursion folk suggested that the mini might be affixed to leap anything... even another player.... So I'm doing two figs: one will be leaping a leaky, rusted barrel marked "Goal Line"; while the other's hand fits perfectly atop the middle of the GW "dead skaven" figure I had lying around... this not only fits perfectly on a 30mm display base, but also looks like the werewolf is in mid-stride and at the same time having stiff-armed down the skaven linerat....

Super-sweet!

Putting them together and they are EVERYTHING I could hope for... not at all too tall... set one next to a (fist lowered) Pestigor and the tops of the shoulder pads are at the top to the 'Gor's horns.... With the head sitting, recessed, between the shoulders, there's no height dilemma.... Beefiness-wise, they are directly on par with other BB minis of the St3 ilk....

Now if I can only paint them as awesome as they are sculpted!

No offense, Digger, but could you please stop posting?

Just kidding, of course, but your last two posts have almost convinced me to purchase all the figures in question... even though my Necro team would be at least the 8th team down on my priority list of team projects -- all of which would be conversion-heavy, time-consuming projects so there'd be no telling when I'd ever actually get to them!

I know what you mean... too much "lead under the bed!"

I have most of the minis for the eventual "steampunk" version of my Necromancer team:

Mechanithralls for zombies
Void Spirits for Wights
Either Sinspawn or Deathball Ghouls for ... ghouls!
I'm getting in a Reaper "Ape-X" this week for a test as a Golem(s)
Have a couple of the Chronoscope Jesse Moonwalker(s) for Werewolves

When/where does it all end?!
