Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
A forum for football mini's talk.......painting, converting etc. etc. or showing off great accessories that make playing the game easier, cooler or more fun.

Actually the gobbos and orcs are pretty much painted the same way. Both start with:
White primer
Graveyard Earth undercoat (usually 2 thin coats)
Diluted brown ink wash
Graveyard again
Then highlights of graveyard with increasing amounts of rotting flesh
To finish - very dilute green ink wash.
The only difference with the gobbos is that they have a final highlight of elf flesh on their noses!
Hope this helps!
It helps a lot, thanks!
Congrats on your work once again!
The beasts are coming along nicely, those mutant ones are especially cool.
Fantastic work on the Orcs as well, great conversions and paint jobs. Got any more painted pics of them? (would like to see how the converted BFSP troll turns out)
Edit: just saw the awesome LOTR/BFSP troll conversion on another thread, you have to post some completed pics of that some time

Thanks! Unfortunately I haven't made any progress on the orcs or trolls yet - they're a project for me and the commissions have to come first. Will keep you updated though!
A bit belated, but here's a test model for the beastman team. After some thought, I decided on black and red for the team colours. I'm thinking of adding patches of dirty snow to the base.....
So I decided to stick with the red and black colour scheme and I've added snow to the bases using bicarbonate of soda and pva. Really happy with how these conversions look, now they're painted up:
Painted up the chaos warriors for the team (these are oop GW figures and quite small compared to the newer beastmen models). The idea was to relate each to one of the Chaos Gods, yet keep them within the colourscheme of the team:
Khorne and Tzeentch:
Slaanesh and Nurgle:
Then I worked on a couple of beatmen that I converted up to side with these Gods, Nurgle:
And Slaanesh:
Minotaur and a few more beastmen to come before this team's done...
