New lizard man army, new lizard man team?
The new white dwarf shows some shots of the new lizard man saurus for the upcoming lizard man army. It doesn't look that much like the current saurus and I was wondering if there are plans to do a new Lizard man team to keep them up to date with the army? Anybody know anything?

What do you think? The chance to get players to replace figures they already have, hmmmm let me think about that for a micro second...

What a shock! Another attempt to force us to spend all or money on figures that wil be outdated and out of production within a year. I understand that the object of a business is to make money.. but they really do not understand that the common person can not afford to buy every edition of EVERYTHING.

I am not saying that they ARE doing it, I am asking if anyone has heard anything. Also, if you have a lizard man team, it wouldn't mean you HAD to replace them, hell, I still play a second edition skaven team.
Also, it would bot be unheard of for them to put out miniatures to replace existing miniatures. They do it all the time. So, yes, I do see it as a possibility that they would put out a new team.

The existing lizardman models are relatively new. I would say that what staff fanatic has would be busy on the new ogre and elf models first of all.

I don't know about the new Lizard minis. I don't much care for them, personally. Too scaly and spiky. But then, they are lizards, right?
I made my Norse team out of plastic Chaos marauders quite easily, so I don't imagine that it would be any different for the new Lizard regiments. Interestingly, though, I read somewhere (WD I think) that the new Lizards are gonig to be "easier to assemble quickly" or something like that. I'll bet that means less modular, ie fewer pieces, which means probably harder for BB conversions.
Just a few thoughts.
