Thanks Leon!

Overnight update: Current leaders are team Howay the Lads, by 1 point from Team Paincake, while Flame On B bring up the rear.

Individual leader is Joemanji with his human team.

Plenty more to talk about but it'll have to wait till later...

phew...well I don't know about everyone else, but I'm pretty knackered!

Thanks to the 35 coaches that braved the chilly climes of New Century House to come to the inaugural Flame Bowl.

I had a great weekend, really great to see new faces and old mates alike.

The final team and individual scores are on Pippy's laptop, but here are the highlights:

Individual Champ: Joemanji
Team Winners: Team Paincake
Team Runner Up: Blackshirts
Last Place Team: Flame On B
Most TDS: Matt While
Most Cas: Al the Trowel
Best Painted: Cookie
Stunty Cup: Northern Knight
Inappropriate Blood Bowl Attire Award: Shaniepoo

Full results and pics to follow!

A fantastic tourney (despite the cold). I had a brilliant time.

A BIG thanks to Nippy, for organising such a great tourney (and for managing to make it all run smoothly while also playing in the thing).

A big thanks to all my opponents:
Game 1: Barney. Our 2nd meeting, and one I managed to win this time :)
Game 2: Lucifer. I don't like to go on about bad luck, but when your opponent tells you that luck shafted you in the first half, then bad luck may just have affected the game...
Game 3: Lycos. Loss, but a loss to a real gent who was a pleasure to play
Game 4: NinjaHamster. A solid win, due to some atrocious luck.
Game 5: Glum. We were starting to feel the cold here. I'm using that as my excuse for a poor performance (though it was fun to see us both have alternating luck).
Game 6: Nippy himself! A very close win, with some extraordinary rolls that allowed me to make it a strong win. Once again, I'm sorry that your last turn cosisted of one roll, that came up double skulls.

And thanks to whoever donated that nice bottle of wine I won for bonus points in round 4 :P

And as for Shane and that dance :puke:

It's always a pleasure to play Dave and Geoff.

One day I might even avoid losing to Geoff!

Really great tournament, I had a fab time. :D Thanks to Mark for running everything so well, and to all my opponents for six fun games. The team element was especially fun, adding loads to the excitement.

Cheers
Joe

Well done Nippy, great event and fantastic to have raised so much cash for charity.

I'll do the rankings and pop up the placings here on TBB asap.

I think Cracol was 2nd and Silly Sod 3rd but I may be wrong. The Blackshirts were 2nd placed team.

Great event, Nippy! Really, good two days of gaming :) Although 'Brutla Deluxe' were unable to challenge for honours, one of our team did finish top of the individual standings - way to go, Joe!

My weekend with Underworld was fun, but the results weren't great. After game 1, there is a fairly consistent pattern. The Underworld were generally competitive, but just fell short in most of the games. Definitely going to persevere with them, though (Next time an AG 4 gobbo is a must!)

Game 1 0-3 (0-8! Troll died twice) vs Nick Harding's skaven
Game 2 1-2 vs Mamapepe's Chaos Dwarves
Game 3 1-2 vs Barney's Chaos Pact
Game 4 2-1 vs Sizzling Gromril's Nurgle
Game 5 1-2 vs Valen's Nurgle
Game 6 1-2 (0-9) vs Stick's khemri

Couple of coaches I'm struggling to locate at the mo:

Toxophilly
Nick Harding

Does anyone have NAF names / numbers / real names for these guys? Are they members or new sign ups?

Also, can anyone confirm that Adam B is 'thebeanbag' (and that he played orcs)?

Cheers
Pip

PS - also 'CraigColley' and 'JamesGradwell108' are entered as Cracol and Jimany on the spreadsheet - If the two of you would like me to change your NAF names to these new ones I can do that. Let me know if so.
