Death Bowl VI: The Year of Chaos (October 18 & 19 2008)

Anouncing that Deathbowl VI: The Year of Chaos will be held in Ottawa on the 18 and 19th of October.

The venue is the same one as for this years CCKO which is very suitable and has a bar upstairs with some food and is a short (2/3 mins) walk from a grocery store and numerous food and beverage outlets of goodness on bank street in downtown ottawa.

The website will be updated soon and we will have the rules up shortly. Presently they are the same as last year but with Chaos teams allowed to take mutations at the team selection phase for 10K rather than 20k.

Expect to see more exceptional trophies and custom dice.
We are trying to move from prizes just for the winners to mementos for everyone who plays at the event, so hopefully we will have other stuff too.

We are having a rethink on the date.

The originally posted date (11/12 oct) is Thanksgiving in Canada, so an obvious impediment to attendance.

We would still like to keep it next to the chaos cup but we don't want to 'clash' with the Niaggaroth Bowl at the end of September either.

I want to try a game of Deathbowl but the citadel articel (http://www.midgardbb.com/BBMagArticles/Deathbowl.html) seems to be too small and the comprehensive rules of the Deathbowl VII (http://rubli.ca/deathbowl/files/DBVII_rules.pdf) cannot be downloaded.

Is anyone able to show me these or other good Deathbowl rules?

We haven't put DBVII rules up yet, as they are not quite finished.
