Didn't last time have rules that all injuries were healed between matches - i.e. dead players back to life and no niggling injuries ?

Even goblins can keep on coming back for more :D

I had heard that about last time, and assumed it for this time, otherwise the 11 'man' squad becomes even more suicidal. Can't wait to actually see the rules...

You mean like living dead goblin?

Hey! They should make a new undead team made of dead players from other teams like dead goblins, orcs, skavens, elves with special caracs. That could be fun.

This might have already been invented though!

All serious injuries are treated as badly hurt, they return for the next game. It also does away with the need to roll injuries which can increase the time a game takes.

2 1/2 weeks off-line :pissed:

Well, I'm on the reserve list as well (or so they've told me) and I'm hoping for one of the 50 extras (clutching at straws now).

If not, I'll come to the weekend anyway, as I've already booked the weekend of work.

Anyone live on the M3 corridor? Perhaps we can share a car?

Hi all,

This is my first (virgin, you could say) post on this forum and I must say that I am very impressed. A couple of you may know me, I am on the WPS board most days and am a UK tournie scene regular. Blood Bowl is an old passion of mine (as it is to most on this board!) but I haven't been playing much the last year or two.

However, this has all changed. I gave Geoff P a few games before the WPS club challenge to help him get back into the zone, and what it actually did was hook me back in! :D

Anyway, my first Blood Bowl tournament since the infamous 98 GW one will be The Blood Bowl, and as there is so much dust on my old teams I am trying out one of the new-fangled teams - The Norse.

Cheers guys,

Max 8)

 I got the last ticket!

Got delayed on the way to work, didn't arrive till 8:30 straight on the phone and got the last ticket.

Horns A Plenty will be making their tournament debut, or maybe Al's Ratz. Depending on which I finish painting in time.

I think that painting will count towards final placings. It's fairly standard GW policy for the big tournaments. This is a 'showpiece' event which is going to be covered in WD, the BB Mag etc, I can understand how they want to encourage quality painting and insist on a minimum standard and official figures. Plus of course the gaming hall is open to the public (in fact a lot of people wander through on the way to the shop, and pause and watch for a while).

We'll have to see when the rules pack comes out.
