Necromantic Team a'la Halloween

Post by Pitch Invader »

A Team made recently for Halloween.
I like making themed Blood Bowl teams. I just found this site recently- some very cool teams here! Thought i'd share a couple of mine from commissions or for sales- ones I'm making for myself aren't done yet  :blue: isn't that always the way of things?

The werewolf looks like a conversion of this Reaper mini

Really good looking team!! I like!! I hope to do something like that one day; if time allows... :-?

Just to flash my skills in the "Spot-the-mini-competition:

The fattest flesh golem is "Classic Horror Frankenstein from Reaper
http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/03249

The skinny flesh golem and the ghouls are from Heresy Miniatures
http://www.heresyminiatures.com/undead.htm

(Heresy has a very cool running ghoul with ball btw., but you haven't used it. http://www.heresyminiatures.com/db009.htm)

The werewolves are Jean Paul from Reaper

Yes indeed, the werewolves & 1 flesh golem is from Reaper, the other flesh golem is from heresey, as are the ghouls & the converted ghoulie cheerleader.

I have seen the heresy ghoul with football, but my preference is to make miniatures that are not carrying a ball, I find it looks strange to have 1 or more models modeled with a ball when during the game they don't actually have it. The one exception I make to this is for throwers, I'll often model a ball into their hand to make them look more like a thrower, but not always.

Yeah, I had the team up on Ebay, they didn't sell- first time I've had a team not sell for at least the asking price, but with this economy..

I had several offers, but it was an expensive team to assemble and none of the offers were high enough... someone came close but haven't heard back from him. we'll see. So I may keep them around for awhile.. though my girlfriend isn't happy.. she says they're too scary

I was going to make a thanksgiving team, but couldn't get the parts I had in mind in time, so am now planning a Christmas team ;)

I found the chainsaw guy in Reaper's "Asylum Online Store"

I'm thinking this guy should be used for something too:
