So how many match would be played from a coach?Nippy Longskar wrote:Team Shenanigans
Ideally I will be looking for people to enter in teams of 4 - however, don't worry if you can't quite manage this, just let me know that you're interested in forming/joining a team (there'll be a separate 'Teammates' thread in Tournament Discussions) and we can sort it all out from there!
Everyone will be playing as individuals for the first 3 games on day one, then on day two, the 4-strong teams will be paired of according to overall performance.
That's sounds very good!Nippy Longskar wrote: A Good Excuse!
The other important thing to know is the event is going to be a charity fundraiser for Cancer Research UK. In conjunction with my work, who have promised to add £400 to the total if we can contribute at least that much, I'm hoping to make a cool grand for this excellent cause - and still have a bit spare for some pretty nifty prizes, too.

Can you put on more info about rules etc.Nippy Longskar wrote: Rules 'n Whatnot
The rules-pack is in the works and I hope to have a downloadable version available soon, which will include all timings, directions to the venue and so on. In the meantime here's a summary:
1,100,000 gp teams
Skills purchased pre tournament, with varying prices for different skills
Stars Allowed
Inducements allowed with the exception of Wizards
Each team of 4 coaches must use 4 different races
How much does skills costs?
How many money can we spend in skills?
Etc...
I need infos to look for italian coaches interested in forming a team

Thx,
Roller

Woop! Great to hear from you Roller, that's certainly a good incentive to get the rules pack finished!I need infos to look for italian coaches interested in forming a team![]()
Thx,
Roller
To answer your other question, everyone will play 6 games. 3 on Saturday, paired off as individuals (like day one at the World Cup) then 3 on Sunday, paired off in teams (like day 2 and 3 at the World Cup)
This is really fantastic, I'm so chuffed to see so many people interested. I'm going to have to double check capacity for the venue!Well at least one team from the ECBBL is up for this
The Blackshirts:
1) Myself (Cookie)
2) JJB
3) Stu
4) 1 from either: Lycos, Gumbo or Hangus
We will try and sort out payment ASAP
Hopefully with enough pestering we might be able to muster a second team assuming there's room?!
