Rex Farsight Model
As a recently-back-to-Blood bowl Chaos All-Stars fanatic, I was wondering how I could get hold of the Rex Farsight model?
Does anyone have a spare?
Thanks in anticipation

Wow! I thought that was the Carnage fig from a few years ago - didn't realise it was going to be a CAS fig.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Here is the story so that it is not lost from history.
The Carnage crew and I BOTH commissioned Rex Farsight to be sculpted by sculptors we knew at the same time. Rex is the only star to show up in multiple graphics in 2nd edition (and the team stats strip) that never had a figure. However it was a great minds think alike situation ... neither realized what the other was doing.
After sculpts were well under way ... we found out through talking what we had both done and agreed to work together.
The final plan. Both versions of Rex Farsight will be released at the Chaos Cup 2010 (making both version GW legal for tournament use). Players in the 2010 Chaos Cup will have to choose between the Carnage version of Rex and the one I had done (sculpted by Phil Bowen).
At this time ... I have not picked a Chaos All-Stars players for 2011. But there are a lot to choose from (especially with the descriptions of Chaos All-Stars in the Blood Bowl novels).

Umm, wasn't this fig originally something Orkan organised as a BB.org figure? And it was then passed around to be given out a one of the Dutch tourney's? Possibly the bubble?

Might be right, but I'm sure I got it at Carnage one year. I'm positive I didn't get it at the Bubble, seeing as I've never attended that tournament.

I think it was given out at a few tournies that year. And then i think (Galak correct if wrong) that it was then added as a CAS fig.
Speaking of Orkan, andbody seen or heard from him recently??

Both correct. Orkan visited Carnage with a bunch of these figures. I bought two from him (or traded / colluded; can't quite remember as it was a BB tourney...) at that time as did pretty much anyone else who wanted one I believe.Darkson wrote:Might be right, but I'm sure I got it at Carnage one year. Slightly wrong.hoomin_erra wrote:I think it was given out at a few tournies that year. And then i think (Galak correct if wrong) that it was then added as a CAS fig.
Orkan and I had agreed to make both his version and my version official CAS figures by giving them away at the 2010 Chaos Cup before he gave them away at any tournaments. I very much remember those conversations as we were both very surprised the other had already paid to get Rex made.

Until I stop running the Chaos Cup.traveller wrote:Some informations how many it will be at the end ?
There are a LOT of figures in the history of the game that played for the Chaos All-Stars that don't have figures to represent them.
There is the Minotaur from the novels (he had four arms right? or was it 4 horns?) ... don't remember.
There is the guy referenced in the LRB 5.0 who was encased in metal with metal clawed hands. And many more.
