Next year i promise to plan in advance mate so you can book it.
Does everyone else have any idea on what time they're arriving?
If no one is there, go to the office, check into your caravan, and then go to the beach, or the bar. I think i'll be there about 8ish.
Maybe earlier if the kids are driving me nuts!!

Woot! What a tourny...
I didn't repeat, not even sure where I came (3-1-2, overnight leader and shoddy sunday!)
Don_Vito (Dave) won with a (5-1-0) and played all the top 5 at least. Congrats buddy, keeping the trophy in Newcastle and winning 2 staright tournies (club challenge in may).
Don't tell anyone but he's also in the white isle league...

Not another one: now I'm 2-0-2 against them.gsot_5 wrote: Don't tell anyone but he's also in the white isle league...
Another great tournie, better than last yr if only by virtue of better weather & beach front football (and beach bowl for the bottom 2).
Came 8th, same as last yr but there are more people.
I just hope the new guys didn't all come in underneath me....
Thank you Rob!

RIBEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY
Great tourney, great setting, great footy game, great little shit in a celtic top, great food, great host.
Most cas with the deathroller.
Just a quote from Saturday morning:
Leon: "Where are you going Ronnie?"
Ronnie: "Toilet to be sick"
5 mins pass
Leon: "Did you make it?"
Ronnie: "No, I was just sick in the corridor- the cleaners said they'll clean it"

Just landed back in Manchester. Very glad Ronnie was able to give me a lift up at such short notice, and big, big thanks to Hoomin for throwing such a great bash. Venue was superb, right on the beach, and everything was at a relaxed pace. Fantastic game of footy, but next time we're having the 8 year olds on our team....!!!

Thanks to all for coming. It was great having you all up here. About a 77% increase in numbers on numbers from last year.
Results were:
Don_vito - Champ
Ronnie - Runner up
Ant Purdie - 3rd
Stick - Most TD's
Leon - Most Cas
Rabid_squig - Best Painted
EION755 - Wooden Spurtle
NWA was Trailer Park Trash after Game 6
Watching Ronnie polish of 3 bottle of Scrumpy on Friday night, eject most of it on the Caravan balcony, and then ask if he was making a scene was amusing.
Overall 7 crates of Homebrew were drunk, 9 litres of Scrumpy, a bottle of Elderflower wine (Harriet), a bottle of Sloe Gin, a bottle of Bramble Brandy, and a bottle of Plum Vodka (Which Pubbowler and Lucifer took turns hiding so the other couldn't find it.
Most Educational? Don_vito using Ronnie's "Snow Troll" to showcase his painting skills after copious amounts of booze, and in a 5 year old finger painting stylee!!! Ronnie, we need a close up to send to CMON
Once again, thanks to all the guys for coming, it was an AMAZING weekend, a definite improvement on last year, and i'm already thinking of next year. The whip round will be used to buy next years homebrew kits, and shirts.
Next year? Bigger and beeter we hope!!
Results will be in to pippy shortly

What a superb tournament! Hats off to Rob for improving on what I thought was the best run tournament of 2007! The homebrew was a touch of genius!
Massive thanks to everyone I was lucky enough to have a game against (Harriet, Dave, Ant, Rooney, Ian and Ryan), totally rode my luck throughout but managed to hold it together to at get my first NAF tourney win!
RIBBEEEEERREEEEEEEYYYYY!!!!!
So many highlights I can't think of them all, but off the top of my head...
- Geoff's 3-0 demolition of Undead using Snotlings!
- Ronnie's amazing multicoloured snowtroll (PRO-painted
)!
- Ronnie's amazing multicoloured puke in the corridor!
- Ridiculous amounts of free booze! I'm serious, twenty of us couldn't even put a dent in the crates there!
- Getting shown up by some ten year old kids at footie!
- Boney's team name, haha!
- Ian's interesting
skill selection on his Wardancers!
- My ridiculous T8 and T16 against Ronnie in the final game where I totally cheated him out of the win against me with some crazy half dice double POW followed by copious amounts of dodging through tackle zones, picking up and passing in tackle zones and GFI's to level!
Looking forward to Albabowl '09, proudly wearing the Trailer Park Trash Shirt! Played for, and got!

Thanks Rob...awesome event! Defo on the calender for next year wearing our well-earned trailer park trash t-shirts.
I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow for some pills...as you'd expect I'm having trouble sleeping
