OK, so far we have:

Me (host/organiser/spare player/tool)
Valen Swift (Swift? lol - have you SEEN him?? :o )
Polar Bear
Jordellhandjob
Pipquim
The Chosen Gobbo
Stick with too many bits after his name
Schmeeeeeeeee
Greggster
Darren "Edward" Woodwood
Ambush 3-2 loss after going 2-0 up
Shaniepoo
Sann90210

Last year we did 8 very comfortably. This time round I'd expect it'll be a lot nicer weather so we could play in the garden with our toys (.... but don't go digging in the flowers or getting your nice clean clothes dirty now and don't be long because your tea will soon be ready..... )

There will likely be enough of the custom dugouts seen at Waterbowl to go round, so space will be 1 board per pair. This means we can get:

4 players in the front room
2 players in the kitchen
4, possibly 6 players in the conservatory
up to 4 players in the garden (would need to procure tables & chairs, but sure this can be arranged)

So, minimum of 10, maximum of 16. As before we're just going to run it and see how many turn up

Sorry for not replying earlier, but you sound a "fungi" so I think we might be able to find room for one "morel" ;-)

OK, things are taking shape nicely for this. There is now a set of 7 CD's to accompany the event with a variety of Fruit related musical offerings (with the odd Summer related tune thrown in for good measure). I'm also looking at the prospect of the outdoor arena to increase capacity and I'm working on the menu for the day. Yes, there will be a veggie option, but there will only be one of them Pippy ;-)

I can definitely fit 12 in (2 in kitchen, 4 in front room and 6 in conservatory) and there will definitely be a large selection of fruit on offer again. Oh, and bring your poker money for the evening (£10 or £15 will do - £5 per game)

Cool. Do you want money up front, or on the day? And this may be a silly question, but is the Tourney a NAF one?

On the day will be fine. As for NAF, no it won't be. If the name and location of the event don't give it away, it's not exactly the most cut throat of competitive events

Forgive the newb type Q but what are people doing about accomodation?

Sat night was spent in Belfast bus-station because of this obvious over-sight

i've just had my pass formally stamped for this from the Powers that Be. So i'm in!!

Wouldn't say no to a bunk on the Saturday mate. I'll probably drive up early Sat morning and be away Sunday morning.

Anyone care what team i bring? I suspect i'm well out of my league so i can get me excuses in early :)

What's the format for the games chap?

No one cares about teams, so free choice. I'm going to be doing the rules set this weekend (IF I remember!) so expect some fruity goodness in your interwebs soon...............
