Yeah both teams were fab. I play against Nippy on a regular basis and the teams he produces are always great.

I used his Skaven team during the weekend and there another fantastically converted team, although i must admit my playing abilty did them no justice!!!

Both teams were fantastic.

I think Nippy's had the extra wow factor though.

Congrats to both painters. Great work!

I only had a quick look at the lizards didn't get to look at the chaos. Had a good time should be back next year possibly hopefully with some more Ribble Wariors.

Fiend! That was actually unbelievably crap play by me on the first turn, was a little lucky to scrape through for the draw after that methinks!

Thanks for the nice comments chaps, I've popped some pics of the team up in the painting section. Well done to Lauth for the award though, his team was really nice and far better painted than mine - as ever I rushed the paintjob a bit in the run up to the event.

Well i must admit that my luck over the weekend was...well...crap!
I managed to have 17 TD's against me by the end of the weekend and only 3 in my favour  Think i need to find another game that i can play and actually win.

Game 1: Pro Elves (Valen) - Loss 0-7
Well after rolling 6's for all the pre game stuff (Fame, Weather, who goes 1st...) i knew that things werent going to go my way...and i was right! The 1st half saw me go down 3-0 (i think) as i failed most attempts to pick up the ball. The 2nd half saw me fumble every attemp to use Hail mary and almost every attempt to pick up the ball meaning that Gav was able to score every 2 turns. Yes he broke the score marker racking up 7 TD's, almost half of his final number  I dont even think i got the ball into the opponents half.

Game 2: Dwarf - Lose 0-2
This game again saw me unable to pick the dam ball up. His Troll slayer managed to kick my beast from pillar to post throughout the entire game. All in all i dont think i was able to get through the Dwarf armour more than twice and couldnt keep up with the flat footed gits as the passed some long passes :o

Game 3: Pro Elf - Lose 0-2
I think at this point my brain was in my boots as i cant remember much about the game other than the fact that i couldnt pick up the ball, throw the ball or even block. Nuff said!

Game 4: Goblins (Thechosengobo) - Lose 0-4
This game was just bad. A Goblin with Jump up drove me mad as even when he landed on his arse after being thrown he was able to jump up and run about. All in all a terrible game.

Game 5: Flings - Win 1-0 :D
What can i saw, my only win of the weekend. This was by far the best out of the games i played, not just because i won but more because it was so fun. The game went back and forwards with the ball being throw from one side of the pitch to the other all game. In the end it came down to the Flings final turn of the game where a single scatter away from my line by a thrown player ment that the fling with the ball could only get to the line and not cross it.

Game 6: Rotters - Lose 0-2
This game was a mess from the word go I think i rolled more Skulls in this game than in all my other games together. The only thing that can be said about this game is that disturbing presence played a huge part in this game as 50% of the blocks thrown against warriors and beats were failed.

In the end i had a great time but still think i should have won or atleast got a prize for having the most TD scored against me!!!!
