Really, but it is kinda funny. A blitz sets off a dump off, which sets off a pass block, which sets off a diving tackle which causes a turn over, which may or may not end the blitz, which may or may not set off the dump off. Is there anything else we can string into this? And if the turnover ends the blitz does that mean the dump off ends which then ends the pass block which then ends the diving tackle. So do you then get to try the blitz again?
Mmm, my head hurts...
Surely the common sense way to deal with this situation is to ensure that the block action is completed, then a turnover occurs due to the pass blocker falling over? (it was the active players choice to take a risk whilst pass blocking) I see that as the turnover rules are written at present this doesn't happen, but given that there is an exemption to every rule, this could be it. I suppose this would require a slight rewording which may be viewed as inelegant, but I don't really see the problem myself.
