Hi CoachRattenfetza,

how far is the Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) from the place of the tourney by taxi?

We'll land at 8:10 AM at DUS and the first round start at 9:00

Ryan has cancelled our fly :( , so the only low-cost :-? possibility is from Milano (BGY) to Dusseldorf (DUS) with Airberlin...

Thx,

Roller

It's approx. 7km linear distance. With a car, I'd say about 12 km.

8.10 + checkout time + 15minutes taxi drive = you should be able to make it ! :)

We will start at 9 o'clock - I think this will give you some time.

Here you will find: http://www.vrr.de/en/index.html some cheaper (but maybe longer) ways to get you there - it is the regional train + bus business (vrr).

Cheers
Sascha

FINALLY!!! The week of the Dungeon Bowl and therefore the countdown to the event has begun!

I can't wait to get to Dusseldorf to participate in my second major ever (first one was the Blood Bowl way back in 2003).

With 77 coaches registered thus far, there is no doubt that this will be a very enjoyable experience!

Are there any coaches that will be arriving on Friday as well? We (that is Jelmer, Furociousfleabag, Kwek, Xod and myself) will be in town probably somewhere around 16h00 in the afternoon. Anywhere we need to go? Anything we need to see?? Anywhere we can meet up with other coaches to kick off the event???

See ya all on Saturday, hopefully some already on Friday!

Grtz!

Sorry, seemed to have missed that post ...

Is the time indicated correct as well? If I can persuade the other guys in the car to have some Greek food, we might be turning up there.

I think the time is correct.
Me and some other players from the Botz league will turn up a bit later as we 'll leave Frankfurt about 6pm.

what time do we think this Greek resturant will shut? We are many of us getting there pretty late :-? Will they still serve food at 10.45 - 11pm do we think?
