Count me in, Manchester is so much closer than GW HQ. I might be able to drag Dreamer and Tashton as well as a few from the local gaming club. Will ask around.

D'oh! All the cool people are going to the Roze Bowl. I'd love to come but since I live in Nottingham, the GT is still cheaper. And I have already told about 7 people they can sleep in my house that weekend!!!

Have fun guys and don;t let Geoff win.

It's a bit like 1992.....when some of the enigmatic stars of the darts world broke away from the WDO and BBC (Blood Bowl Corps) to seek fame and fortune as the PDC on Sky TV! 8) (bit bored)

Not really. More like refusing to pay the high price of tournament entry but still wanting to play. We've said all along (and made no secret of it) that if GW were to drop their price then this wouldn't have gone ahead. It's not about fame or fortune but about taking a stance against what we believe is right and wrong.

As for me? Like plenty of people I can afford it, but instead I'm supporting those who can't (and who GW wouldn't listen to otherwise). I see it as social responsibility, i.e. supporting ALL of the community not just those with money. But everyone has to make his or her own decision on this.
