A really nice one... Not sure it's a blood bowl original ogre, but it would be nic eon a pitch... Even if a little bit big than the usual big guys IMO (the mini... I use like galak is big).

It should hav emy interest anyway... Except the Galak mini

I don't think he's much bigger than usual. Certainly not any bigger than that Morg monstrosity. :puke:

He doesn't really look like a Citadel piece. It's hard to tell if he's had a weapon snipped from his hand. Even still, I should recognize him. If it's Citadel it's rare. My whole problem is that I don't really know other lines of minis. It may be from someone else. I know who to ask, though. There's a Citadel mini group on Yahoo. Maybe I'll head over there and find out.

I interested in this auction also. The fig is definitely NOT GW ... I'm almost sure of that, but I'd like to see it more closely to see if I could ID what company it came from.

Galak

I'm going to place a low bid .... if no one PMs me, I'll be placing a larger one.

One of the Guys on the other site thinks it may be a Target (Warzone) fig. Thinking back on the Warzone figs I've had in the past, I definately see similarities but Warzone is really futureistic. I just don't remember who cast the Warzone figs. I may be able to look up their catalog on the SoL site if I did.

Could be a Chronopia mini, the fantasy range made by the same company as Warzone. The enormous shoulder pads hints at it.

I'll put in my 2 cents.
Pretty sure its NOT Warzone/Chronopia by Target Games which also was Hearbreaker Games in the States and made Leviathan (PRE-Chronopia). Early sculpts were mostly Tim Prow, Chax Elliot, and Kev adams post-GW stuff-but obviously very much still in the GW style-(their ogres and minotaurs make GREAT! BB Big guys but are not always slotta base-2nd ed, scale but sculpted in a GW style).
This figure has that more subtle Ral Partha style but the fact that it doesn't seem to have a moulded base is confusing. Maybe Crucible or Chainmail???

The fig in question is a Crucible figure. He originally had a ballista in his hands, but that was removed as was the handle from from sword. His hands have also been turned from their former orientation. With a little more TLC, he could look really good on the pitch. He is a little small from the waist down, but his upper torso is a large as most GW models. I failed to tell the fellow selling it for me he was not a GW model, hence the confusion. Sorry.

Sorry guys

I thought since the frankenstein was a late 80's GW model the ogre would be too. Unfortunately ebay won't let me change the auction since I already have bids.

You can add a blurb to the bottom of the auction at any time, though.
