Justin, sadly it now looks unlikely that I'll be able to make Pearlies this year  . It looks like it's going to clash with my friend's stag weekend - Pearlies got there first, but I can't miss the stag.

I'll let you know once I know for sure.

Accomodation - Saturday night only.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Why don't you have the stag do relocated to Camden!? That would solve it all!

Sounds good.... not sure if the wife will let me go though.

What is the format? TV, progression, etc?

I'm thinking I'll make the trip for this one. Will confirm later this month, when I've counted the pennies!

We're just working out what format we're going to use if we are going to change anything, in the past its been 6 round swiss with TV 1100K and skills (7 by game 6) on random players after each round.

Which is a format I very much favour and will be voting for...

A new and better place - a separate function room in a sports bar, in Camden too. Details coming up tonight.

I'm interested in this as well. I'm in London, so no accomodation required.

Is this a 1.1 TV with random skills before each game, kinda format?

I just need to know what size team I need to sacrifice to my brother in our practice matches....

Ok, I've been 'BB-quiet' recently but all this is about to change (mainly with the start of THE ECBBL new season soon 8) ).

So, down to recent comments:

Yep, we are working out a cheap place right next to the pub (PM Justin JJB if you're interested) but if you want to go with what you know, do it now to ensure cheap prices!

Bah, lightweight, I knew you couldn't take the stress.

Only joking mate, maybe next year...

Good stuff, Camden is dead easy to get to, very social and we plan to have a cracking social evening 'proper' this year as well...!

Good to have you mate, the more the merrier! Buzz Justin (JJB) a PM if you will need a nights kip 10 minutes from the venue and he will be able to hook you up.

The rules are 99% finalized (unless we get an unfortunate late revolution they will be the same as last years, do a search for 2007 event  ) but will be announced soon.

Phew!

Well now we are up and running with this feel free to buzz Justin (JJB, the chap who started the thread) any PM's about the event if you have any questions and the full price/methods of payment/last details will be up very soon.

BE WARNED. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 4 YEARS A NON-BLACKSHIRT WON LAST YEARS EVENT.

THIS YEAR IT IS PERSONAL...Image
