Hello all!

I found this on privateer press homepage.

Can it be used as an BB minotaur.

It varies, but I know the game puts some of its bigger figures on 50mm bases. If that base is 50mm, that means the minotaur would have to be twice as big as the newest BB ogres! If it's only a 30mm or 40mm base, though, he should be OK.

Are you sure? The only reason I ask is that, looking at the first picture, I would have guessed that the spellcaster in the middle-left, raising the staff in the air, along with the three wooden guys on the far right were all on a 30mm bases, which would lead me to believe in comparison that the grey/green pillar in the middle is on a 40mm base -- which in turn would mean that the minotaur in question in the back would have to be on a 50mm base, as it's obviously the largest of the three. And in the second picture, comparing the minotaur's base in the back to that of the small wooden guy in front of him, I'd guess the minotaur's is 10mm wider on each side, thus 30mm --> 50mm.

Either way, 40mm or 50mm, my guess from those pictures would still be that the minotaur is probably at least twice as big as the largest BB Big Guy figure we've yet seen from GW. Too bad, as pose-wise and without any weapons to snip, it would've made a nice BB without any real modification.

He's on a 50mm display base. The obelisk just in front of it is on a 40mm base and the little guys at the front are on 30mm.

Just as I thought -- which basically means that if you had a team of the latest Ogres for which you wanted to use them as the "little guys," and you then needed a figure to be the "big guy" as compared to them... this minotaur's your guy!
