Black Orc Games
Having been directed to Black Orc for some shoulder pads, firstly Im going to assume they are 28mm miniatures, secondly are they any good. Does anyone have any experience with them. They seem to have minis that would suit what I want for a team, but the paint jobs on them make the miniatures themselves look very plain, without much detail whatsoever. Are they just bad paint jobs and the minis are actually good?

well I saw what I think is the actual mounted Lynx shaman, and it looks sweet. That picture is terrible. I don't remember seeing any of the "people" figures in the case. I just got home from playing there tonight. I'll try to remember to check them out next time I'm in there. He has pretty much every figure in a blister pack on the wall... if there isn't one painted, I can take a gander at the actual figures.

Well, that was a good news/bad news package....Vomit Lickspittle wrote:A lot of interesting stuff... though the "Monster" (from their Freakshow line) looks to make a good alternative Flesh Golem for my Necro teams....
The good news: Black Orc's "Monster" is magnificently detailed... excellent casting....
The bad news: It's lower torso is as tall as a BB Ogre....
Oh, well, mea culpa....
