Just a quick note on hypnotic gaze. To use it you must declare an action, however if at the end of your movement, you are no longer doing the move action, and must select GFI. You don't have to make the roll, but you do have to select it. Just wondering what happens after your GFIs, can you still gaze?

My guess would be that if it the game doesn't let you use it when your move is a 0 before you select GFI then it won't let you use it when your move is a 0 after you use the GFI.

Why don't you try it and let me know for sure? :)

Just checked out. You were right, it wont let you gaze after your GFI's run out. Not a common issue i suppose, but could be a problem.

There is a new 4.6 patch on the same download page as the original game download.

Main:
http://www.geocities.com/javabbowl/
Mirror:
http://javabbowl.no-ip.org/

The 4.6 patch adds auto roster update, some UI improvements, and fixes some bugs.

Download the "patch4_6.zip". Unzip the contents to the original install directory. It will overwrite the "bbowl.jar", "readme.txt" files.

Something that seems to be happening with the 4.6 patch.

Not all cas are being reported.
What i mean to say is that they are on the html results page under injuries caused. but not on the star player points table. So you do not know who has caused the cas. I think the problem maybe occuring on killed player cas results... although that might not be true.

Has anyone el;se experieanced the same problem?

cheers Ski,

You do know you don't get spp for failed dodges fouls and crowd inj and the like, but these do count for the ff roll, double check ;]

Hi there,

I'm desperately looking for some tools which I can use with Skijunkie in order to make quick html rosters (ie without putting all informations, skills...), and manage "over game rolls" (xp, ageing).... Could you tell me please if something like that already exists ?

Yes i do realise that SPP are only now added for blocks and fouls.

But I'm sure there were some discrepancies during the game.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this so far, with the new patch?

ONLY blocks, fouls don't count anymore =/

Not noticed anything like it in the new patch however.

Fouls only count in 3rd edition. If you have the IGMEOY option checked all the new fouling rules are used, including no SPP for fouling.

Also, remember that players blocked into the crowd and injured do not award SPP points.

>But I'm sure there were some discrepancies during the game.

Yes this is a pain in the buttocks, but you can go through the "messages.log" file and figure out exactly what injuries occurred and how they occured to see if they really don't match up with the end results page.

I think the closest thing out there is Christer's League Manager.

http://trollcave.no-ip.org/LeagueManager

It takes a little bit to figure it out, but once you have it setup it is pretty quick. You first create your teams in the League Manager, then you can export them to html rosters. You will have to ask Christer how he handles the "over game rolls".

Thought i'd bung this in here

maybe a bug not sure

on the results html it showed me getting 3 kills
however showed only two players dead on my oppos result
the apoth was used on a bh, so it looks like a dead player has disappeared
the two dead recorded were the visible ones in the box, the third dead simply vanished :-?
