Am meeting Levinas tonight to discuss it. It will be pretty much the same as last year except the skill set including +1 MA will have an extra skill in it (we realised that it has been a skill short over the last two tournaments...). Will post here when all sorted.

Rulespack still being finalised, but the skill sets for the tournament will be the same as for the waterbowl ladder. Pick ONE of the following skill sets and assign the skills and stat increases to various players before game 1. No player can be given more than 1 skill:

Upgrade 1 = 4 x skill, 2 x doubles roll

Upgrade 2 = 4 x skills, 1 doubles roll, 1 x MA +1

Upgrade 3 = 5 x skills, 1 x AG +1

Upgrade 4 = 4 x skills, 1 x ST +1

The only difference from last year is that skill set 2 is now 4 skills, 1 doubles roll and 1x MA+1 (in previous tournaments, there were only 4 skills and 1 x MA +1. This may be why no one was taking this choice...). A normal skill can be taken instead of the doubles roll.

Do you get the lot or have to pick 1 from the upgrade each round? eg, 4 x skill 'and' 2 x doubles roll : 4 x skill 'or' 2 x doubles roll

Last year we picked an upgrade package and assigned the skills and stat increases to various players BEFORE any games. No in tournament increases at all. No player can get more than one increase.

So using Upgrade 1 you can assign:

Guard to 4 Longbeards and
Pass to 2 other Longbeards

for example. Not that anyone in their right mind would.
