Portuguese Team needs players

We are trying to make a portuguese team for the Blood Bowl World Cup that will take place in nottingham in UK during the 19th,20th,21st october 2007.

Two of us can go to the WC, and two others are interested but not sure.
For my part i was born in Porto, but i live in France.
So if you are portuguese living in Portugal or in another country, you can join
us and try to make a team representing the Portugal.
If you know portuguese players, can you present them to me?

Two years ago for the Eurobowl 2005 there was a half Portuguese team lining up.

Most of them where students all around Portugal. At this time I was searching for a team and ended with the austrians as the Portuguese team had a very thin number of players where a drop out would be cruicial. I think they had 5 players in total but I have none of the original pms or mails. I will see if I can dig up something.

Hi ,
I have no words strong enough to describe what we live during those 3 days of
world cup.
Our result is not very good, but we make portugal alive in the blood bowl
community. (you can see our result here

I never been before to an equal event (although i had in the past made a lot of
magic the gathering tournament).

This was great, and we only ask again and again.

Now we have to see that the next event is the eurobowl, and the blood bowl
community is awaiting for us.

It will be in spain, normaly in barcelona or Seville. The date are not fixed,
but the eurobowl is expected for october-november 2008.

So we have to hurry and found 8 players to go.

Are you interested? Which roster do you want to play?

In addition, some players asked me when portugal will make is own tournament.
Do you know a place were there are a blood bowl tournament, and where we can
accept about 60-80 players, and where we can it?
Can you help us in order to organise such an event?

Just over the border in Spain? I guess it shouldn't be a problem.

That's a mistake. It will be in Barcelona or Valencia
