Good job Frank - again.

And well done Ian - again.

Can anyone stop last year's (and this year's) chump?

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when they find out, you're a mile away...... and you have their shoes.

Yep, Stick's wood elves beat Lycos' pro elves in the 'pouring rain' final.

Great tourny!

Great weekend. Big thanks to Frank for another top notch event.

Can’t quite believe I managed to defend the trophy, perhaps it’s the sea air that brings out the best in my dice Big thanks to all my opponents for 6 great games. Especially Lycos, whose dice in our first game had to be seen to be believed.

Really hope you can run it again next year Frank.

Cheers

Ian.

Yep! Well done Frank for a fun Tournament.

I enjoyed my games even the ones I lost. In fact the game I enjoyed most I lost 1-0! (It would be even better if I could pretend the second half hadn't happened!)

Marvellous stuff, though I could have sworn the rules pack said we got lunch

3rd tourney and I got a certificate - I've updated my sig and everything!

Well done Frank - excellent way to kick off the long teacher summer holiday.

But honestly.....we had not planned it, it was your idea. Until you said it, and we 3 looked at each other...we hadnt done anything about it..... and then it was.....well.....kind of obvious really.

Indeed yet another great weekend on the circuit, well done Frank and also for the best part of a grand towards charity..... that must not be forgotten. Tom Brown (Mr Brownsquire) should also get credit for those boards....

Mr Stick Using Welfs proved a worthy winner, no poo in sight.

And lastly.... I should apologise for my somewhat colourful and frustrated langauge on Sunday. I had 3 games back to back where I can honestly say I have never been so damned frustrated....particularly v Ian first thing... but really there is no excuse and I should know better.

(although how would you feel rolling 5 double skulls in 7 turns, 4 times the very first dice I rolled)

Finally slept and recovered and time to say thank yous...

First to Joe, Chris and Lyam for letting me stay and the shelf.

Frank for such a great tourney.

Gegg for the somewhat claustrophobic ride.

Grum for the sh*t

Dave for the spanking...

and an apology to RAB: I REALLY REALLY REALLY don't know why I talked all that bollocks about dice, and kept that record. I feel stupid and really really embarrassed, and all I can say is sorry.

Anyway, Must always remember...ID!

Oh don't worry about that, Leon - if the situations had been reversed wrt block dice you can bet I'd have had at least raised eyebrows :o

Seriously, don't give it another thought, I'm looking forward to a rematch :)

Will someone post once the results are on NAF? How does this work anyway - does it depend on Lycos being at every tournament :D

Dave is sent the results and inputs them when he has time- then we usually get a "results are up" reply...
