My Orc Wyverns and Giants and VOR Growlers don't fit on 40mm boards. You guys really need to get onboard with the 60mm squares. Now you can really use some of those figures that get suggested elsewhere. (and the 25mm guys look more like they're on a NFL or soccer field :P )

I had a friend some years ago who made a ~60mm board so he could put his BCs up without their hanging out into other squares. The board was kind of crude by comparison to some of the things I see online, but it worked, wasn't noticeably inaccurate and really brought out the best in speedy teams, as you'd move your Gutter Runner about two feet across the board. The best part, though, was that the Big Guys had all kinds of room. A lot of people were suspicious of his passing template, but what's a couple mm among friends?

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

My tanks don't fit on 60mm, can't we just do away with squares and use measuring tape?

Just go life-size - that solve all the arguements.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
